Stayed 2 nights here, arrived late at night left before 8am each day. No one bothered me. Very quiet area, minimal noise from the other rv/van folks. Beware of street sweeping earlier in the week like others posted.

An open area interspersed by trees and bushes and surrounded by low rock walls. Plenty of space for wild camping. Not visible from the road. A distant house. A bit noise from close by wind Mills. A couple of locals passed by. Asked if we needed something. No garbage. Good for visiting Jain temple and Hindu temples in Osiyan. Take little asphalt road on the left when coming from Osiyan. Take an almost non existing sand path on the left side in a curve on the asphalt road after having driven a couple of minutes.

We did not stay the night only lunch time. Some locals were here, very nice. We wash our clothes and took a little bath. Maybe not for a night but for some hours it's great. No one asked for money. Big rigs okay.

Beautiful and super quiet spot. We saw goats and cows. 3 people passed and waved us in the morning.

We went here beginning of Jan and the road was perfectly fine with a 4x4. Ask around for Pedro in Ussoque or Kandjonde or give him a call: +244 938 627 545. He is a superfriendly guy that is more than happy to show you around. He speaks only Portuguese but is learning English. He is the project manager for the conservation project going on here. They even have a website in English: mountmoco.org.

We arrived here at 9pm tonight and spoke with a man putting a private property sign up - what a coincidence! His main concern was about fire risk (also rubbish and vehicles damaging the grass), but was friendly gave us permission to camp for the night. He lives 100m from the bridge on the Argentina side - if you're thinking about staying here please stop in and talk to Jorge first.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Just to sleep not to chill, there are better places to chill like the beach in Puerto Fuy. The cars on the road did not bother us to much at night time. During the day we visited other hikes and things nearby.

Beautiful isolated beach. Breeze! and small waves, but probably calm enough to swim. Didn't stay the night, but would definitely do so if timing was right. Correct description...perfect wild camping spot!

Same process and description as most recent other posters. At 9am on a weekday, this border took 3 hours total. On the Honduras side, 5 minutes - no cost, filled out a customs form for the moto and returned the TIP for my moto. Got stamped out at passport control. There were border helpers and money changers trying to get my attention at the Honduras passport and vehicle office, but they left me alone when I said I didn’t need help.

The Nicaragua side was more confusing, it took a minute for the guards to let me through to the offices & parking. Then there was a customs form very similar to the Honduras form. The officer who collected this form also searched my bike, which took maybe 30 minutes including repacking it. He asked about drones and cameras, and searched all three of my main bags and inside some random small bags.

Passport control/entry is what took the bulk of the time. I had sent the form in via email, and they had not responded to that or done the background check. There were a lot of questions, by multiple officers, about my plans, where I was staying, my website, etc. I think someone in a back office did some sort of background check. But throughout this everyone was fairly friendly, and once they decided to let me in, became more friendly and told me about their own motos, etc. Cost of tourist entry & whatever was $13.

It took a little while for the TIP to be filled out, but at that point they didn’t check the bike or VIN or anything. Then fumigation, I think they asked for a dollar. Then insurance which again was around $12. Altogether not as bad as I expected, just try to be patient if they have to do the background check. There is fast free Wi-Fi in that area you can use too

Great spot under the tree (some trash). Also some bikers slept on the beach. Right next to a beautiful river in which we swam in the evening and morning!

There are a ton of reviews on this place so we were super eager to check it out. I don’t think the reviews live up the hype.

Firstly, we were told that, in fact, there is no dump as they have a minimum 3 day rule (we are staying for 2) and they’re booked so we can’t stay longer even if we wanted. Offered to pay more, still no…so, no dump. Great.

No water unless you drive round. So none at sites.

Yes, electricity, but no powerful enough to run aircon. We have a 8 month old baby who naps during the day. We cannot go to coasts places that are this hot without hook up for aircon (hence us coming here). So we have to leave tomorrow before he cooks in a tin can under the sun with no shade 👍

Good points. Excellent location, clean toilets and showers.

Spent 4 nights here without issue. On the National Holiday, it was packed with locals and lound music, and the cops drove through a few times just to look. Other nights were quiet, just a light beat from a nearby bar. Perfect spot for surf. The fresh water shower right on the beach was nice, and you can get wifi from a few different spots. The Selina nearby is great if you need strong wifi at their restaurant, the food is tasty and fair prices for the area. Our friends in a B+ RV were here with us and we set up camp, no issues. Loved it!

Beautiful campsite with 90 lots. The campsite has well maintained toilets, showers, and a laundry machine located at the bathhouse. This location is pet friendly and was $36 including tax per night, and an extra $7 for water/electric hookup. Park opens at 8am and gates close at 5:45pm (We barely made it) -so keep that in mind!

Cute laundromat with an old western theme. Unfortunately their card machines aren’t working and we had to leave. We tried multiple cards on 5 different washers. All didn’t work 👎 there is no change machine either so left with no option but to leave to the other laundromat.

price is $340 for one person, most certainly not worth it, but it's 10km on a sandy track from the main road, so, didn't want to go back. toilet is super nice, over the top, I'd day, considering the rest.

Even though sites are pretty far apart, I had a hard time getting decent night rest because of loud kids at th3 adjacent site.

What a beautiful gem of an RV Park on the Baja Sur Peninsula just minutes north of La Paz! Carlita & Bill's recently opened Villas and RV Park is a gem! A solid 10/10 for attention to detail, and they have not yet even finished their project! Beautiful and natural landscaping, along with well spaced RV spots, not yet seen by us in Mexico. City water and sewer hookups available for 300 pesos a night. The 3 villas on site are gorgeous and fully equiped. There are bathrooms and showers available, and laundry facilities as well, for 100 pesos a load. A swimming pool and poolside lounging area with birds in cages adds to the charm. Carla is a lovely bilingual Mexican, and Bill, her ex-pat Canadian husband, are both kind and welcoming. We will surely stay here again on our return back north.

25Q per person to sleep on the parking lot. There is wifi and toilets.
75Q per person to do the coffee tour. It is around 1h-1h30 and the tour is in English !
Nice to taste the coffee at the end.
As said before the road to arrive there is a bit bumpy but totally doable.
