Stayed one night, didn't have any issues, nobody else there. Felt safe.

Delicious food in a lovely courtyard. Breakfast all day (waffles, eggs, pancakes) but also savory options (flaky croissant sandwiches). You can choose from lots of toppings to specialize your meal how you like it. Great coffee as well. ~60 Q for breakfast and a drink.

Great cheap campground in the off-season. $12 for pass holders, $24 without. Beautiful spot on the cliff above the ocean, can hear the waves but not too loud. Cell coverage very spotty.

The best campground we stayed at in Argentina. Wind protection, hot water 24/7, WiFi, walking distance to shops and a lovely family who runs this place. Attention to detail and even freshly cut roses in a vase in the always clean bathroom. What a great place.

This place looks like it's permanently closed. The gate is locked on January 2nd which is high season in this area. Went to Casa Verde instead.

Lake was pretty dry, but still amazing view and quiet place. We were the only van there and had the whole place for our self's.

Friendly and modern border staff speaks English on both sides. From ivory coast to Ghana with motorbike without visa and without carnet (not recommended)

Make sure you get the exit permit from Ministry in Abidjan, they will stop you without. For the rest very easy. Ghana visa on arrival was possible fill in 2 forms and pay 150 usd with receipt.

I did get a temporary vehicle import paper but I had to move heaven and hell first. they made me promise I wouldn't tell anyone.

As described, I double checked with security patrol and they confirmed that it’s ok t overnight park directly in front of PF. A bit noisy from motorcycles and booming car music, but good for a night’s stopover

Lovely area with lots of sites and far fewer people than on the actual beach. On beautiful cliffs not high above the ocean. Lots of sites along this long cliff. No 4WD needed. Clearance helpful on vehicle, but not absolutely necessary. High quality site!

Hotel with rooms spread across multiple buildings and a secure courtyard where they let us park our two big motorcycles during our stay

Very quiet square, close to the central circuit of the city, we spent one night.

Stopped here for an overnight after leaving Masaai Mara as it is very close to the gate. Price is now 2000ksh pppn which is obviously cheaper than inside the park and it is a good location to use to visit the park but because of this there are alot of people, both staff and guests using only 2 showers and 2 toilets in each side male and female. The site is not very flat either so not ideal for overlanders. Still needs a few touches to make it great. But it has a lovely bar and restaurant area and super friendly team.

The water spigot still has no threads. Good luck getting water. We couldn’t find water anywhere. Finally asked a favor at an RV park down in Tombstone and filled up. Travelers in this area beware and plan your water usage accordingly.

5km from Vioolsdrif border post on SA side.
We stayed in a chalet with AC, shower & toilet. Super nice owners and friendly dogs. We arranged for dinner and with Stephnie and enjoyed the most wonderful home cooked meal.
View over the Orange river and Namib grape vines is spectacular.

The upper parking, close to entrance and open WiFi. Bathrooms open trough the night.
They let you park at the end where are one or two leveled spots but with level blocks also fine. Price for 24h now 9000

This is paradise! Mario is a very caring host and does anything to make you feel welcome. He can tell you all about the region. We met his father, Mario Sr. and his brother, all very welcoming as well.
The pool is great and clean. Bathroom is very clean.
Very quiet at night!
Lots of birds around the fruit trees.
It is walking distance to the little town
You will basically have the place to yourself because there is only room for two small units at a time. .
Mario works as a history and geography teacher at a local secondary school.

Stayed here for 1 night and slept in my 4runner. Paid 150 pesos to camp. They had wifi available for purchase but it was very, very slow. It was better in the morning but still very slow. I did not eat from the restaurant but people that did eat there said it was good.

We were here on a not windy day and absolutely loved it. Found a sheltered spot for our tent and saw two other locals with their cars camping here too. Waved hello and didn’t notice them being here at the long stretch!

Nice campground as described. When we were here many Families were in the park nearby and at the camping too. Lots of trafic from the park went past in the evening. (Tuesday)
A family had a gathering just next to us with karaoke singing and loud music until past midnight. (They had arrived at 8:30pm and surprised us)
If you’re lucky and catch a quite night I think it’s a real nice spot.
Bathrooms were usable but not very clean. Paid 800$ for two in a tent.
Wifi did not work. Lots of mosquitos. Lots of barking dogs at night.

Very pretty view! Traffic stops around 8. We had a very quiet night.

Got knocked on the window by a police officer. He told us that we can park here but sleeping in the vehicle overnight is not allowed by the city law. All of other camper suvs and pickups got kicked out too. Did spend some nights here before with no issue. Not sure if the police is going to check this spot regularly in the future.

large and mostly flat area (viewpoint) on top of mountain. next to the sh 130 but quiet. there are a few places behind trees and bushes to hide. easy to enter with every car. we were told that it’s dangerous due to wild elephants and tigers. still hoping to see them;)

Reserved spot online, $33.50 total for one night. Nice and quiet, good reception, near the water, electric hookup worked great!

$25 a night. quiet, easy place to stop for a rest.
