5 🌟. A large parking near the lighthouse at Cape May. It's a park with many trails to do very nice birdwatching. Trails are very easy to walk. We spend the night right next to the entrance of the trails, at the far end of the parking lot, nobody told us anything, and there are no signs forbidding overnight stay. So... it's an A.

Lovely campsites nestled among trees (nice dappled light and shade) a short walk to the beautiful beach. We chose the site looking out at the sea. Antonio is the camp manager and is VERY polite and helpful, he will gladly wash your dishes, fetch you wood or help in anyway he can. Clean ablutions, but no hot water. R180pp/pn

Good place to shelter from the wind if camping with a tent. As for June 2022 it does have internet connection.

There’s so many great places to stay, and this Walmart is one of them I recommend it

stopped here for a pizza and beer, only to find out they don't open until 5pm. while we were trying to find out where we were going next a guy came out to welcome us to the camping area and showed us where the bathroom was. unfortunately we were just hungry and didn't stay the night.

This Camping is closed. The camping arrea has changed into Bungalows. The Hotel furtherhin works, for Restaurant you have to book in advance.

Fees in june 2022 :
- campsite : 14 us$ for international customers
and only 100 Katchas for local people

Too expensive for international tourists

Came here to sleep but the gate was closed without details… maybe due to the high winds. Worth trying. Foxwarren is 20 min south of here if still closed.

No problem getting here in my prius, parking off the main road south of the parking lot. Level ground, gorgeous views, one bar of service sometimes.

State Park with lots of RV sites, showers and restrooms.

Cool little spot next to the river. However I had no cell service with Verizon in case that’s important to you

Safe quiet parking lot. Lots of space to spread out. Nice casino with clean restrooms and food. Right off I-40 but no highway noise or trains. Gas station next door with competitive prices.

We wanted to search for a place after the end of the nationalpark and found this spot next to the road. It is a big area, with a lot of flat spots well hidden from the road. You can hear the vehicles passing but after 6:30pm it was very quiet. Nice sunset view 🌞. Nobody around during our stay (arrived by 3pm and left by 9am the next morning).

Nice, dispersed dry campsites with good sun spots for solar recharges. Good service with Verizon! Quiet other than light road noise. Setting up for a bit while exploring Tahoe!

We stayed here for one night, as per the one night rule, and it was safe, clean, and peaceful. The police drive through and wave. The sign says to stay in the parking lot and I think they mean the large lot to the right of the bathrooms, not in the park, itself, where people park to enjoy the place. Pretty riverwalk, picnic tables and a short walk to town. If you stay here, consider spending a few dollars in town as a thank you. A fun brewery, a great, natural food store, a few coffee shops. Del Norte needs some love, please give them some.

Stayed the night here. Lots of other campers & cars. Even a big rig was parked for the night. The street is slightly sloped as you go father down, so parking closer to the top gets you more level. There wasn’t much plane noise for being near the small airport but cars do go flying down the street. Not a lot of traffic, but enough to shake our sprinter van as they passed. Otherwise, nice spot and safe.

Small place only for tents under mango-trees. We were here with bicycles. Enter the small path near the old house in the curve. Next to the place ist a small waterfall.

Head south up the hill 1km from Burfjord.
Perfect for small camper vans, cars motorbikes, cyclists.
A quick pull in to the right is a lovely flat cozy spot. Traffic doesn't bother with river noise. Very quiet night.

Can't Complain.

Road closed, fire camp personnel only as of 6/1/22. This spot nor the other spots on this road can be accessed.

Typical Cracker Barrel. Large parking lot with plenty of lighting. Next to a busy part of town but nothing too crazy at all

My visit here ended up being fine, rvs around as well, I stayed in a car.
Had a sketchy guy pull up in between two of us and start drinking beer and smoking pot in the back of the parking lot where we were staying. Left, then returned with a friend and did the same.
Also saw homeless wandering around the Cracker Barrel.
Overrall was not bothered and had a good nights sleep
