Nice campground and trailer park with an astronomy theme! Clean bathrooms and good showers, way better and cheaper ($15/300Ps) than anything we found south of the border over the past 5m.

In April, there is a lot of agricultural activity going on in the surrounding fields, so not so quiet. View is nice, though!

Stayed here for a night on the Easter weekend. Busy but everyone was very friendly, sea is a bit calmer here than on the east side of town, but poor telcel signal.

Seems ok to me and easy access but it probably depends on where you drive. I came in on hard packed gravel. Plenty of areas to park but as others mentioned, a few seem to use this as the place to dump your trash bags and unwanted household items but overall it's not bad. I'm parked right next to the water by a rock fire ring. A few people drive out late at night but no problems. Full bars Verizon and 4G

Stayed for the night, very quiet parking lot. There was a trailer parked next to us too. Waking up to snow covered ground.

Right before reaching Las Nubes, locals have placed a rope across the road & are asking for a toll to enter, which apparently supports road maintenance. They requested 100p per person, but we gave 80p total and they seemed happy enough.

For what it’s worth: if you camp at the first site labeled on iOverlander (slightly south of the Centro Ecoturístico), you actually avoid this toll AND get to camp for free.

Jungle oasis!! The camping itself is nothing special (unless maybe you manage to snag the parking spot closer to the river), but it’s quiet, safe & generally a very beautiful area around the waterfalls! 100p/person to camp including entry (usually 40p). Wifi is available for 20p per hour, but it was barely enough to map our route to the next spot, so don’t expect to be doing much in the way of surfing.

After visiting, we’d actually suggest camping at the first spot (more southerly) marked on iOverlander, which is on the opposite side of the river. It’s free & you also avoid the 100p/person community toll coming into Las Nubes— I just added it to iOverlander so you can see where the roadblock is. Locals were friendly enough, but we thought 200p on top of camping AND entry fees was a bit ridiculous. Ended up giving them 80p for the toll & they seemed happy enough, but in hindsight, we would have preferred the free spot just down the river— walk across the swing bridge in the morning to access the Centro Ecoturístico for 40p/person.

We parked here for a week while we went on Glovers Atoll. It's very safe, guarded day and night, there is Wifi, a toilet and showers. We were able to keep our car plugged in the electricity outlet for the whole week. We paid 25 BZ Dollar per night, same rate whether we slept in the car or where away in the island.

BTW can highly recommend Glovers Atoll, its just 100 USD for a week of tent camping on the island per person and includes the boat ride out and back.

Small cute grassy valley lined with Douglas Fir and sagebrush. A natural spring provides green. Lots of birds, a Bighorn sheep watched and a black bear did it's thing in the distance. Peaceful and quiet. A cow perished here, there are bleached bones strewn everywhere. Hardly a level spot around. No fence, no gate, no sign.

Stayed here 2 nights with my 14’ trailer. Lose to the beach. $20 a night, pay i line because they do have rangers checking. No shade at all, but great spot! Definitely recommend

Stayed 3 very busy nights over Santa Semana. As recommended in prior comment stayed near pedestrian bridge, and a bit further from Zocalo. Lots of cartel and gun presence, but had no concerns for personal safety. Enjoy Batopilas.

While we walked from town ~7k, road to this point easily navigable in 2wd vehicles. Beautiful and absolutely worth a visit. Traditional Santa Semana celebration held here.

According to the manager, the water is not potable because it runs next to the gas pump. You can find it right next the first gas pump

This place is very clean, a little bit of road noise since it is close of the highway. The truck stop is on the other side of the RV parking lot. I had a travel trailer and it was pretty easy to park. There were some vans and buses parked next to me.

Great spot for some downtime in Kanab! Beautiful area, clean bathrooms, potable water (bring a hose), walking trail, Ramada with tables, grassy areas, disc golf course, sand volleyball, fishing, kayaking, even some crossfit type equipment in the playground to get a workout in.

We stayed in the parking lot but you can also park in the gravel area near the water. Pretty busy on the weekend, and parking lot was loud until about 11pm with kids partying. Sunday night was much more quiet earlier. Good cell service. Keep it clean and enjoy!

Very nice spot. Just off the FSR, with a trail down to the creek (with decent clearance and 4x4 you can drive down) only about 500m.

Lovely camp, safe and great with kids. Absolutely everything is cash only and we burned through quite a lot having done the half day canoeing. Very helpful and friendly management. No WiFi and no potable water. The locals drink water pumped straight from the Orange River.

We camped here for a night after doing wadi scrambling in wadi bani khalid and before going to wadi Hawer.

It was beautiful and quiet, and as indicated before, loads of mosquitos. In the morning we had some goats.

Make sure to only come here when there is no rain coming as it will be flooded otherwise :)

Snow and fatigue made us stop our drive sooner than planned. So thankful this lot was available. Had no issues getting an 18’ Dodge van in and out, saw another van there plus a few cars. A bit of road noise, but very manageable.
