Nice grassy campground with 2 showers and 2 bathrooms! Wifi is slow but it’s nice a shaded. There is a restaurant on site (never ate at it) but heard they have good micheladas. Campground right in a river and there is a taco stand across the street! We made $300MXN to stay one night!

This is an established Nationalforest Campground. Reservation only via recreation.gov / 22 $ per night for a dry site. Water available for filling jugs. Restrooms but no other services. Close to #101 but quiet enough. Trail leads to sand dunes and beach. Bonus: no OHV rednecks :-) We stayed at spot 6, the most sunny one. 4 and 5 also out of the woods, all others quite shady.
unfortunately there's a 8 $ reservation fee, which makes it pricey for one night stays. We cannot understand the policy behind it, would be perfect for fcfs, just a few sites taken on a weekend mid April. Spotty t-mobile service

There is a small road that goes up the hill from the junction and dead ends after about 500ft. It isn’t very flat but a couple scrap pieces of wood to level out the truck and it was a great spot with great views of the Sacramento sunset. Saw a couple locals doing donuts in the muddy area below but other then that fairly secluded for a weekend.

Kanab creek is low this year so we didn’t get to swim but can verify that this still is a gem of a spot and doable with 2WD. We arrived during a wind storm and got sandblasted but now it’s 8pm, no wind and my husband is practicing his archery just outside the van. The creek is just yards away from the coordinates listed here. Turn just after the big weigh station if coming from Zion/Mt Carmel, a mile or so past the Moqui/Sand Caves. Three or four other rigs here and room for more.

great place with nice installation, including clean bathroom and shower. I would recommand but be ready to pay a bit more... the price is high (30$/Nights) compared to other camping in the area.

Trailhead parking lot in a rural setting just outside of Davis. Not too far of a drive from Sac. Tiniest bit of road noise, but otherwise peaceful. There's a porta-potty available.

Beautiful spot. Just as described. Camped a couple of nights in a 36 foot motorhome. Roads in can be rough so would highly recommend walking it before driving in. There's lots of space to park on the street and the walk is as great as the parking spots

Visited a few other hotels in babati and wete very happy with this one. Safe place for car behind gates and security. And struck a deal for 2 rooms as singles for 20k pp. Staff very friendly and let us hook up electricity and coik dinner on the terrace. Great stop.

stayed here in Feb, it was nice and quiet for 4 nights. stayed here mid April over Semana Santa, worst idea ever. yeah some nice families. but so busy, lots of skid row show, loud trucks, racing at times. luckily seems to die down at night around 11pm as the police drive along the road every 10 mins to tame and riff raff. not recommended during SS, yes otherwise except that other recent post about license plates being stolen is sketch!

In februari we were the only visitors. But now in the easter weekend quite a few camperers here (in the early evening I counted almost 80 vehicles) only a few foreign cars. Still enough room for everybody and more. We enjoyed three peaceful nights and two full days. No no signs anywhere. Only a permit warning sign about fishing in the river.

Ok place, but we expected a bit more for $20/pppn. New ablutions with good hot shower, light, electricity and braai stand at every site. But sites are pretty close together at this big campsite and only a few, good spots on the fenceline. Campsite is also pretty long walk away from the lodge facilities (pool & restaurant) and there didn’t seem to be any shortcut. Good game drive loops nearby, though. So you don’t need to just drive back and forth the main road(s). No wifi at campsite, nor any EcoNet signal, either.

A single pump with petrol and diesel at normal prices.

Sometimes runs out, the guys at the Southern Park gate might know if they have gas. Credit card payment temperamental, and only 1 attempt per card every 10 minutes, so bring cash or plenty of patience (in my case the 5th attempt was successful)

Beautiful spot! Unfortunately the police came around 7pm and told us we can’t sleep here. We needed to move to the busy village Sepiddasht. Maybe the place uphill out of sight is better, but not doable with 2wd campervan, after rain especially.

they have a new viewpoint a bit north of the marked spot here. Its higher and farther (one way: 1km) than the old one and you can really see how far the glacier has melted the last 200 years. Sadly incredible. Price is still 5000 per person

About 2 3 kms of gravel and hard packed dirt for the final road to get here. Small cabanas, no air, but a fan. right on the beach but there is also a pool to enjoy. small restaurant across the street. Town of Las Penas is about 2 kms away. wifi is decent. Pets allowed. Covered parking for my motorcycle. Cash only,$15 US dollars a night
