Based on the solid reviews/experiences that were posted here, we decided to give this a shot on a Friday evening. While we were eating dinner there were several people coming and going. By the time we decided to head to bed at around 10 or so, there were a pair of younger guys being kind of loud but they left within 30 minutes of being there… nbd. Thought we were in the clear until a car pulls up around 11:30, and a guy starts unloading audio equipment out of his car and carting it into the larger field behind us. Next thing we know, we have a generator running and this guy is blaring dubstep music at midnight. We decided to tough it out until the two fellas that were there before decided to come back with their vehicle wrecked and they appeared to be drunk. We left and parked at the Cracker Barrel near the interstate as that was just the last straw for us.

Seemed like a nice spot but I’m guessing this place is a somewhat secluded hangout spot on Friday evenings. Not sure I would try staying here again on a weekend.

perfect place. police welcomes you to stay here. As long as there is one camper they stay here or close by.

Nice place in the sand dunes, accessible by tarmac and firm track. We didn’t need to deflate our tires. Probably also 2WD accesible. We did suffer from strong sand filled winds. Could be seasonal.

We asked the security if we could sleep in our car and they said yes! She also kindly offered to call the hotel if we wanted to sleep in their lot, supposedly parking there is 50 rand. We chose to stay here. Peaceful night, wind sheltered by trees. Flattish spot for small rigs, big rigs will have trouble levelling out. Full 4g reception.

As this is next to (but not visible from road) the gantry, cars passing somethings give a small honk in the day.

Otherwise it’s a good free spot to hike early the next day. Enjoy!

Stunning sunrise in the morning. Windy but our van was protected. Nearby street lamp didn’t pose a problem.

as described by others, level gravel parking lot right next to the river and a bike path in downtown Asheville. six other vehicle stayed overnight including our 24 ft class C. very convenient and comfortable spot. a gold line for us was the wonderful Asheville piano bar across the street from us. every Friday Saturday and Sunday they have live performances, Friday night being Blues and it was absolutely fantastic music. heads up though: you have to show that you are double vaxed to get in. prior to the music we went for a walk along the river and had great fusion tacos at the White Duck

I actually really like this area for a wild camp. If the evening is gaining on you it’s only 30 minutes from Jaén and much nicer than there. I didn’t go down to the quarry but stayed up over the river and had a wonderful night.

Great spot and friendly ppl. We arrived on a long weekend with no booking & they were packed, but found us a spot in a bush camp.
Nice pool & bar area. Was surprised to learn they were getting too busy and took down all their signage, so it was a bit tricky to find. You'll need 4x4 for the last bit & for sure to get through the sugar cane field if it rains.
wifi at the bar for a fee. cards excepted. paid 100R/person with no electricity.

As described by everyone else, super spot ! Propane was still 99cents/gallon while we were here ( people were lined up for it ) and the receptionist absolutely welcomed us staying. There were 3 others here when we stayed so about half full.
Way better than Walmart or Cracker Barrell.

Use my coordinates to get here. I was trying to find a quiet spot away from the trucks and found a good one! No one bothered me, super quiet, and someone else parked a few thousand feet behind me. Basically a gravel road that can accommodate many rv’s big or small. So much better than Love’s noisy lot.

This is our second time staying here and honestly we don't love it. Having the beach within walking distance is nice, but people drive so fast and irresponsibly that we didn't feel safe parked on the side of the road. Also Verizon reception is no longer good.

We stayed on the paved side and had no issues. Traffic noise isn't as bad as you'd think. Verizon reception is good! It's definitely not the nicest spot but it works!

Beautiful spot, spectacular views, overlooking the Represa de Chivor, known for its kite surfing (when the water is high enough, not when we were there).
Good flat camping areas, clean bathroom and shower (cold), even tiny pool with natural water, possibility to connect to electricity. No catering.
Lovely couple running the place, including three cabañas.
The road leading to this side of the lake is rather rough but doable and beautiful.

Indeed a very large camping municipal. Even on Easter weekend only a few campers. Very quiet, because there is so much space. 250 pp.

Stayed a night here. Nice rocky and sandy beach, great sunrise and sunset. Nice place for a swim. Right next to a ridiculous vacation rental house but it didn’t seem like anyone was there.

2-3 bars on Telcel.

No real privacy (no trees or many bushes) so not a very private bathroom experience.

They have both dry camping and full hookups. $10 for dry. Larry, the Campground Host in the motor home near the clubhouse, takes cash only.

The clubhouse with restaurant and bar seems to be open variable hours, depending on the season and the day. The bathrooms are open all night. And it is dead quiet at night - just the coyotes yipping and howling.

Friendly folks. A good place.
