Good place to have a shower and/or a bbq. Cheap, 600 pesos for big rig and 2 people. Lots of barking dogs in the night, so bring those earplugs.

Beto and Chario are the owner of this place. They’ve a few cabins, and and unbelievable place for staying in San Blas.

We stayed three nights on their parking lot with our van. It’s not a place for big rigs, but if you have a van or similar you should come here.

150 pesos per person, and you get a pretty decent WIFI and extremely clean bathrooms and showers.

Beto and Chario are super nice and friendly. They’ll help you with anything

This is a gem in San Blas

They asked us to park out by the fuel station where the semis are. It was fairly quiet.

Super great place. Wasnt bothered by anyone and only a few cars drove by at dusk. It’s in an open prairie with a great view of the mountains in front and some trails immediately behind you

Small and overgrown tracks, so don't expect to see much or be able to get good pictures. We did spot a few Zebras, Kudus, a Warthog and a buffalo mostly from far. Park is not completely enclosed so animals come and leave. We were told lions and elephants usually don't stay in the park. Price now is N$ 50 for the vehicle + N$ 100 per foreigner (50 for Namibians). They had run out of maps.
Watch out for the ruthlessly speeding around park rangers on the narrow roads. 7 of them in the Park Landcruiser were coming the other way with a freshly killed Kudu in the back. I stopped and honked, but they didn't even slow till just before they hit me, yes, full frontal collision. I guess they were just a little too eager to cook their fresh kill. The main park supervisor, Sem Shilongo, was one of them, so can't even complain with their supervisor. He explained since there is no phone service anywhere near I would have to wait for days for the police. And since it's a government vehicle on duty (hunting in a park, really??!) I would have to fight with the government for months to get some money. So since nobody is hurt and the vehicles drivable, I should just pay for it myself. I'm disgusted! However, this also explains why the animals are so timid in the park.
Definitely can't recommend this park.

Still good pressure to fill water. We used a filter so no idea about the quality.

Great spot. We were a bit worried about the moderators warning about vandalism and theft but we were the only ones there apart from a man who came to fish in the morning. Beautiful views across the lake and we couldn’t hear the road. We managed to make it easily in a 2WD camper just fine and parked on flat ground down and round to the right. No internet at all for us. Please take your trash with you! ❤️

Do not agree this is big rig friendly. We tried taking our 42 ft 5th wheel down this road and saw maybe 1 spot we could fit into. And there was almost no where to turn around. Learn from our mistake.

Guarded parking, 2 DH per hour. We didn’t stay over night but asked the guard if it would be permitted and he said yes! It’s next to a street, so probably a little loud during the night. Right next to the Medina and tourist sights, many parking spots.

Stayed here for four nights while exploring the island with a rented motorcycle. Property of a very nice local family. Hammocks around, very basic bathroom, some shade and water fill up available. Walking distance from the main street with tons of restaurants and a natural pool up the hill. The only negative would be that there are quite a few ants around which I am sure you'll also find at other locations on the island.

It's a well developed area, everything is paved and very tidy and offers lots of space.
Over the day everything is calm here... some visitors here and there, but in the evening, life begins. Dozens of visitors are coming and enjoying BBQ, Sunset or whatever.

Most Cracker Barrel’s are great, but with all the other RVs and vans parked at this one, it feels super safe!

Quiet and safe place, as described. Taxi to the centre (to Plaza San Martin) around 1000 pesos and takes 30min.

There are 11 campsites along this road.
Sites 1-8 are right off the road in a pullout style. Perfect for tent campers and vans. You could probably get a larger rig, but you'll be close to the road. These sites have paths that take you to the tent pads, and have a picnic table and fire ring.
Sites 9-11 are down a short road. All these sites are larger and would be suitable for larger rigs, or multiple people. Each site also has picnic table and fire ring.
At the beginning of this road is the pit toilet. This week it was clean and had toilet paper.
This area is heavily used, some folks decided to use the site next to us as day-use, lit a fire and left it, along with their trash. So we extinguished and cleaned up the site. If you see trash around, don't let that deter you from this area, just clean it up and use it. We felt very safe and enjoyed our time by the lake. We spent 5 days total and met some nice folks which adds to the enjoyment.
