Seguro.

Gorgeous spot! Tons of room for a bunch of rigs, some spots more private than others. It’s pretty clean right now - please pick up after yourselves and keep it that way! Also, 2 bars LTE with Telus.

Shower is still here. It's on the right side of the bathroom building. I believe it's free if you purchase gas. The lady by shower asked me 30 pesos but when I showed her a gas receipt, she didn't charge me. Shower was clean, and water was warm.

Quiet place, $20/night full hook, unfortunately poorly maintained, many permanent residents in trailers, some of which are uninhabitable

Nice pull off area! Room for multiple cars/vans/etc. Good cell service, good views of the ocean. Right off the road, but not too noisy.

There are several campgrounds and when I got here around 5 or 6pm on a Sunday evening they were all fully booked. I heard some folks just stealth camp at different pullouts and picnic areas. One of the camp hosts said since the group site was empty it was probably a safe bet to camp there so that’s where I’m at! He did mention that park officials do sometimes make rounds and kick people out so it’s a gamble but the park is beautiful and I think ill just chance it for the night considering I’m just sleeping in the back of my car.

Didn't end up staying because it was really dark but wanted to update as last update was a while ago so we were unsure it was even active. Lots of wild campers in there, having fires, spaced far apart, well treed. Would have loved to be able to stay there. Much better than the RV park we ended up in! But for the record, it's alive, well, so close to town and lots of others around, but not around. Prefect little spot for a stopover.

There are many dispersed camping sites as you climb up onto the ridge. Then there are many other sites once you get on to the ridge. At times, the road is rough but with care a two-wheel drive vehicle can manage.

Residents will call the cops as there is no overnight camping permitted on residential streets. Some take pictures of your vehicle and plates to report any garbage or other reportable offenses to local pd.

Uninspired full service gas station setting with Oxxo. Large dirt area next to gas station serves as a truck stop. Filled up and parked not very level and quite noisy all night. Asked no permission and parked our van among trucks. Useful overnight spot. Strong Telcel signal for internet browsing.

We just stopped for breakfast. Really nice place, good food, everything fresh and delicious.
You can sit in a cactus garden, with shade, sofas, tables and chairs.

Beautiful spot in the trees along the beach. Spent three nights here over the weekend. A couple families having picnics during the day but quiet at night. Police drove through once but didn’t stop. The way we entered would be a bit tricky for some big rigs, but should be possible. There is a dirt track running up and down the beach, so there are probably more ways to get here. Would stay again

Great storage site! Noel super helpful and charged me only 5000 shillings per day for 3 weeks storage. He also turned the motorcycle on periodically in Oder for the battery not to drain. He’s a real gem to work with.
Thank you for this contacrr te!

Since its not clear from previous posts, tent campers can also stay and are also outside the guardhouse, which is not the greatest tent camping spot ever but you can tuck a (narrow) motorbike and tent behind the sign so you're mostly out of view of the road but in sight of the guardhouse.

We revisited Eldorado for the first time in 10 years - it's expanded hugely but is still excellent. The original campsite is grass with mature shade trees and a block of 4 really good stone built ablutions plus a kitchen/laundry area.
The newer campsites seem to be grass with multiple additional ablution blocks (at least 2 being individual). Some of these newer sites border a new game viewing area with lit waterhole where giraffe etc can be seen from a raised platform and some have rooves for shade.
The predator viewing tours are still operating - that's another issue.
The staff all seem happy and welcoming - Gideon remembered us from last time!
