bear.berenback | Large pull off, only accessible from south entrance, across from Gordon lane. Elevated from roadway with large bushes for some privacy. No view, no restrictive signs, and no disturbances. Road is relatively quiet from 10pm to 7am |

chundhau | Highly recommended. It's off season now and we did not see a soul during our one night here. The road and railroad noise could bother light sleepers. I wear headphones with white noise and was not bothered. |

overlandingwithdogz | We booked a hot air balloon ride over pyramid through Edgar at Mi Mexico Lindi. Could have gone direct, but convenient as we camped there. Edgar arranged transport and the service was great. The hot balloon ride was sensational 2500 pesos each including a great breakfast afterwords, there are 4 hot air balloon operators in the area which is probably cheaper. |

SylvanGoes Instagram | Beautiful spot. Very accessible for non 4x4 van. 1 LTE bar on AT&T. Good amount of space for multiple rigs. Spaces before and after these coordinates once you take a left onto the gravel/dirt road. All are marked with designated campsite signs and blue markers on trees surrounding the area! Quiet with light sound of the highway traffic. Nice spot to wake up to, limited travel on the road mostly just hunters passing by. |

roamingabout.com | Indeed it is quite beautiful, and the cactus are great. However, to say this place had been discovered is a slight understatement. We did arrive on a Sat late afternoon, but the place was packed. Many large groups of 5+ vehicles, and we were lucky to find a pull off to use. So, come early, and avoid weekends would be my advise. |

sigriddeininger | Place for 4-5 camper, right at the Laguna. With water access. Very quite during the week. You can rent Kajak, swim or book some tours.
The Balneario has a restaurant as well, but service is not frequently, so bring what you need. In Buenavista you have several Abarrotes but no big stores. Contact the owner for any further questions +529831002483 WhatsApp |

travelswithjenny.ca | This is a national forest campground right off 191. Only four sites are open (I assume due to fire damage) but I was here on a Saturday and it was deserted. There is a pit toilet, no other amenities. The self service pay station does not have a posted fee, just a suggestion of donation, so this is technically free . Some road noise but not at night. Great Verizon service! |

Traktorbek | The place is right next to the road. However there are not many cars passing by. You can park your vehicle on a large, leveled surface. The view is stunning. The place is around 200m above the sea level.

Up And Beyond | nice place. we used the access road from the north which was painfull for our Sprinter van: gravel with lots of pot holes 4x4 not needed. People toll us the road from south is better and saves 100 Rand toll on the Highway. cellphone coverage very bad. The perfect place for climbers. |

lily.goncharov | Great little place. Spoke with a local and he said there are many cotton mouth, copperhead, and rattlesnakes up here. Didn’t see any. But I’m sure that’s how it is all over Tennessee/Arkansas. |

Improbably Adventuring | I wouldn't normally post a road warning but this one is the real deal. Your GPS will want you to take this way to El Cardon, but take the long way via Santa Rosalita instead unless you're really looking for an off-road challenge. I'm a pretty experienced offroad motorcyclist and this one was HARD. so far it's taken me two and a half hours to go 18 miles, and I've still got 28 miles to go. |
