Overpriced parking lot in an over touristed area. Very slow internet. All of the shops in the area are also rude and don't seem to want our business. Apparently money grows on trees here! You can just skip this little town on your trip, it's not worth the stop. Much better places in NS to visit.

The facilities are in a demaged manner. 150 NAD pP are much too expansive. The platforms are in a desolaten condition. The platforms are used by the strongest bulls, weich don't you allow to pass.
There are a lot of animals, which died of Tollwut. Nobody cares about the cadavers.

Great spot close the the highway.
The sound from the river overpowers any of the road noise except maybe the large trucks. We stayed one night at the spot a little further down the dirt road. There were a few trees for shelter from the wind but still fairly open and exposed to the wind.

No cell service.

What a gem! There is a pullout at the bottom of a hill and a road in from there, several spots with fire pits and the furtherest site has a bar! Take a beer, leave a beer <3

Beautiful FREE campground, well- maintained, good amount of scavengable firewood, small creek, fire pits, picnic tables, bathroom/pit. Only downside is partially visible highway. 10/10.

Best beach in La Paz. BUT No cell service (which is kinda nice), very sporadic and def NOT full bars of 3G during the THREE trips I’ve taken here summer of 2021. Check @NomadicMotorRad on IG for sexy drone footage 😊

just around 400m north up the beach ⛱ 😎 to your right on higher ground in sand dunes. need 4x4 normal clearance. just watch the tide , unless its a king tide it should not come up there.

Large parking lot next to highway. Semi-lit up. A few trucks and rv’s seem to park at the far end from walmart. I called walmart and they said I can park here overnight with the trucks. Many food places in walking distance. Good place to stay a night

RV Park attacked to the fairgrounds with SOLID WiFi and full hookups. No separate dump station/water hookup. Quiet. Grassy. Tons of areas to walk/wander. Call for availability. Super friendly.

Truck stop similar to Pilot/Love’s in the US. All the regular amenities you’d expect. Big parking lot. Stayed here in truck camper. Usual parking lot noises and the highways is nearby, but overall was a very quiet evening. We’d definitely stay here again (and probably will when we return from Newfoundland on our way back to Pennsylvania).

Seems like it hasn’t been visited much lately. Facilities are present but very run down. Water in the kitchen area and shower was not super clean. Staff was friendly and the Masai guard was very nice. The place was better than the other spots we visited around Talek gate. We would in general recommend stay at a different gate.

Hill top camp (small) with good 360 views. Open 1/5, close 31/10. 16 June to 30 Sept, 12.50 euro/person. Other days, 9 euro/person. Motorcycle/bicycle + tent cheaper. Cash only, euro/Kn. Electricity and full kitchen + fridge included. V clean ablutions. V friendly, complimentary homemade wine on arrival, nice. Located near expressway but not bothersome, also near entrance to tunnel through mountain, 12 min. to coast. Supermarket 10 min. walk in town. WiFi mainly near common area, spotty at sites. Recommended.

Lugar muy tranquilo, es una zona residencial, la calle es amplia y con árboles que dan sombra, la playa al frente también tranquila poco transitada, en la noche los policías hacen ronda, a nosotros no nos dijeron nada pero a vehículos que llegaron a poner música y desorden si fueron a sacarlos. Recomendado.

CJ'S is a very good resturant with large selection of dishes and juices. A bit expensive compared to other places in Uganda.

Its not a hostel, itś more like my house or a guest house. Since I have been travelling around the world by motorcycle and used a lot iOverLander, i decided opened my doors to host nice and vibrant travellers.

Gloomy and dreary town. Everyone looks unhappy, buildings are run down.

That said, this is a place to spend the night. Sound of the waves and lots of wind. No one came to bother. A few restaurants at walking distance.

Not a nice place. Small place with high wall around. Nobody welcomed us. We decided to go to Sabacha camp 30 km north.
