randysharong | As mentioned, a great spot to stop for the night. Really nice lake front view. Couple vehicles came to the lot in the evening, stayed for a few minutes and left. Didn’t bother us since it’s a large parking lot. Quiet at night and just a minute off the highway. |

fisico688 | Camping on property of the Enramada cafe/restaurant. It is fairly quiet, because you are away from the road. They will let you choose a place behind their buildings and workspace. Its great to have access to washrooms though, as they are nearby. At the service station you can also ask for a shower. It is normally used as a storage room, but they may give you access. ;-)

r8yQqy6zELKsPFAdabwv | A decent campsite near the banks of the Green River although access is virtually impossible due to the invasive plant growth along its banks. The back side is up against the red rock mesa’s of the WRT and the only noise is an occasional vehicle passing on the trail which is about 150 yards away but should die off when it gets dark. You’ll have your own pit toilet which is about 150 feet away from the campsite. Please note that you will need a permit and reservation to stay here… |

Jamie Z | Great remote campground right along Castle Creek. Nine campsites all with fire ring and picnic table. There's a pit toilet. The road in from either direction is rocky and bumpy. Expect slow going for the last few miles. 4wd is not required if the weather isn't bad, but there are some ruts, rocks, and puddles to navigate. High elevation, so expect the temperature to drop at night. If the campground is full, you can find some good wild camping along the road. |

Jamie Z | My experience is a little different than the previous folks. I arrived at about 6pm midweek in the first week of October. The place was beyond packed. All six sites were taken, and the spot in the middle was filled with half a dozen tents. There were people, kids, dogs, and cars all over. Sunset was coming soon, so I made a hasty retreat to the prairie where I found a moderately flat spot to set up my tent. From what I could see, there's no privacy here. All the sites are in a small loop, and everything is out in the open. Not my kind of place. |

Steve | Nice camp site that wasn't busy in early October. Has a mix of forested sites and sunny sites. The mosquitos were bad when I was here in July, but not a problem in October. |

rob | I was going to stay at the Walmart in town but it was way too busy with too much traffic. I drove up here and indeed you need a permit from about the middle of November through is thru the middle of April. Apparently this is a ski resort area. However I'm here in the beginning of October and I do believe based on the signage that I was reading you don't have to have a permit to stay up here during the off season . This is an awesome place to park. There is a pet toilet. It is super is is supremely quiet. And there are ample places to park your rig. I'm looking forward to a good night Sleep away from the city under the trees and the mountain peaks. |

donismobile | Decent quiet spot close to the park and the springs to park at. Fairly level. The gate is a barbed wire fence you detach. Would be easier to set back up with two people. Worth a stop for a free place. |

benjamin.n.smith76 | We tried to get to this site after dark which was very difficult. We entered from the south which actually had a road closed sign. Roads appear to be logging roads at best. We managed to do it with a 2WD Sprinter but would feel much more comfortable with 4X4/ high clearance. The road between this site and Baysville is moderately difficult and would be challenging if it was wet/raining. However if you can get to the site you'll overlook a beautiful small lake surrounded by beautiful Forrest. One site that can hold one trailer/van and tent with water access. One site across the lake good for tent camping. |
