Perfect for one night before heading further into the country. It's a quiet backroad with a few possible camp spots on the right and left, found it in the dark but still liked it in daytime. In the morning a shepherd and a guy with a tractor passed but that's it. |

The access to the camp is extreme low range first gear 4x4, rocky inclines, steep declines and a river crossing. A stock vehicle probably shouldn’t come alone. Not for the faint hearted. BUT the reward is immense! What an incredible location, surrounded by the Chimanimani mountains, close to a lot of trails, incredible bird life, absolutely spectacular. There are no facilities except a non flush toilet. The sites are basically just a cleared section of forest floor. Water can be fetched for you in a bucket from the river, it tasted perfect to me but I’m not super fussy. Certainly ok to cook with. No power, no cell signal, isolated. The camp manager Mathew was an absolute legend and took great care of me. He’s no spring chicken though so hopefully he is around for years to come. |

The overnight permits are now bought through an app. The cell phone reception is very spotty around the lot itself, but you can walk in the centre's entrance and get wi-fi if needed. To buy your night's parking, look in the "permits" section of the app instead of the "park" one. |

Lots of "no overnight parking" signs around the Walmart parking. Same with the Canadian Tire just in front. There was only 1 big rig so we decided not to stay. |

Friendly modern coffee shop. Nice owner and we asked if we can park overnight by their parking lot. Good food with WiFi and bathroom. Just beside the grocery and laundry service. Quiet at night and with trees. |

Still a good spot for dumping and potable water. Campground has signs saying it closes Oct 10, 2021. I would suspect the water will be turned off for the season then. |

great place to stay. There was maybe one more vehicle here. 4 bathroom pit houses, very very clean which was great. In the morning very few people were coming to the park. Everyone was more going to the parking lot that was further north of here by the lighthouse. |

Easy dirt roads to get back here, not even 1 single pothole the whole 5 miles of dirt road. Evidence of people camping/having a fire here. There are no signs whatsoever, so should be good to camp. Lots of mosquitoes so be ready. Super quiet spot in the woods with very spotty 1 bar of Verizon service. |

Parked here for 1 night in a Campervan, no signs indicating no overnight parking. Streets were fairly busy but no one bothered us. The only signs said I think no parking Thursday 9-12 for street cleaning. Garbage trucks were pretty loud pretty early around 7-8am, but if you don’t mind that then definitely a good spot. Residential so just keep low volume. |

Very nice campground. No hookups. I didn’t need a reservation, but it did help that I called before driving in, bc they could tell me which spots were still available. That wasn’t really easy to tell when I got there. They ask to be paid in cash in advance. $10/night. There is a shower & if your timing is good & you’re quick, it’s hot. They have a very small hot water tank. I would definitely stay here again. |

Very nice place with private wildlife. There are new owners since June wich invested a lot in maintenance, everything is in a very good condition. They have a waterhole on which you can see the wildlife. A the moment there is only one campsite but they are planning to build more. The abolutionbis very good and the place beautiful. Silence at night and you can watch the stars. We payed 170 Nppn. Recommendation. |

Tons of great dispersed spots. Got here at about 7pm just before it got dark, most spots were filled but we were able to snag a pretty private one. Spots for anything from tents to bigger RV’s although I would recommend a 4x4. |

Easily accessible. Locals seem to live in the dirt parking lot for larger vehicles. Had no issue with anyone at the rest stop. Pit toilets, a map, and a place to rest your head for the night is all this place offers. |

As the map says, this is Choinumni Park, not Kitching Flats. It’s part of a string of county parks running up the river. Camping in the campground portion is $25 / night, which is overpriced. But the senior rate is $9 and is suppose that was appropriate. Bathrooms have running water, at least half of the sinks & toilets did. Whole park is tired and worn and trash-strewn, as is the riverbed. Looks like it gets a lot if use on weekends, but was very quiet on the Thursday night I was there. |
