Not the prettiest place to rest but it will do for a night, especially if it's raining because it has a roof. You could set up a tent in the surrounding fields but there's lots of trash lying around.
Warning: There was a stray dog living in the station, but he always kept a distance from us and shied away when I approached him. Didn't bother us any further but be aware!

Very pleasant owner, nice sites some very small some big rig friendly, neat, wood available at R35 per bag, cleanToilet and shower facilites (bucket system) , WiFi available at the sites closest to the main house.
Best to phone, as the gated acces is locked- very safe and secure- in winter/cold weather - showering could be a challenge - but the owner has a bath available with solar geyser :)

Even if a parking area only, it's a nice place at the lake with open view to the west, far enough from the main street, 2 restaurants within <10 min walk.

Went to stay here but there was an orange pylon blocking the lane. There is lots of spots on all the streets that lead to the water. None of them say no over night so we picked one and it was great. Only stayed one night then left by 7 am.

Awesome lakeside free dispersed camping. Sign says to pick an open spot and then report it to the ranger, but there is no ranger station. We were told they would stop by to check us in. A bunch of sites all around the lake, we picked one close to the falls because it was raining and empty. Firepits, pit toilets, and picnic tables were available. Stayed at E21, good, big spot.

Secluded pullout off Dyerville road was quiet, spacious and relatively clean for the night. Some precious campers left a bit of a trace in a DIY port-o-potty but it was easy to avoid that corner of the lot. Lined with poison oak all along the bushes but again, easy to avoid.

Hot shower for $3! But that's about all you get. The shower isn't exactly clean or in good shape. The shower room has the shower and a mirror. Wear your shower flip flops and you'll be fine.

Nice campground on a small hill next to beautiful Lake Abant and the surrounding National Park.

Campground has plenty places with shade from trees. Terrain is not completely flat. Bathrooms are not clean and not all showers function. There seems to be a small restaurant, but we did not try it. Other restaurant is one kilometer down the road.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was a great place to stay there are water pumps all over and a sani dump on the way out. The beach and picnic area was beautiful. The entrance to each site is very narrow for bigger Trailers... highly recommend this spot...

Bathrooms and hot shower. 4 flat concrete spots with water, electricity hookup. Additional level gravel parking. All this in a large community park with ball courts, skate park, disc golf, stage, play area, picnic tables, paths. Google says this site was once an "orphanage".

Few bars LTE.

Sign with list of emergency numbers (tribal police, sheriff etc.) on side of bathroom, including 7-digit number to call for camping and group reservations. Another sign at picnic/tent area "$5/night".

Sink is big and deep enough to comfortably wash dishes in. Very hot water. Shower partition has curtain.

We arrived on a drizzly weekday afternoon. Only a couple of cars parked. Sheriff car drove through but did not stop.

Dark and peaceful overnight.
