People like Fidel are what travelling through Latin America is all about. Super hospitable and friendly. Invited us into his home for cold beer and fresh lobster without hesitation. There are separate male and female shower blocks with hot showers and flushing toilets. Camping on the beach can be windy but Fidel has 3 palapas with tarps on the upwind side for a wind break. The place was hit by a Tsunami a few years back so these three are what remains. $10 a night but he was open to negotiation for multi-night stays so long as you're friendly. To be honest, I'll be paying the full price plus extra for the beers and lobster without the slightest hesitation.
