Short track down a little wash/arroyo to the beach. The track in was a little muddy, covering our tires and loosing traction, but found sand soon enough to make it the rest of the way. If you hug the north side of the beach access you get decent wind protection. Tons of fire wood. No dolphin skeletons. ;) Recommend high clearance for the coast road south of LA bay, remoteness that is hard to come by on the mainland or Central America, reminiscent of South America, a worthwhile drive and good test of your off roading.
