The owner was not there when we arrived, but the plant store owner next door (toward the church) had the key and let us in. We did not see the owner for the first 3 days. The yellow lab was a good guard dog for us, the neighbor took the constantly barking dalmatians away somewhere.
The park is loud because it is in town. Between the church bells at 5 am and parties across the street until 3am, you need earplugs.
The mens showers have great water pressure and hot water. The womens have so little pressure you have lean against the wall to get wet.
The location is great, a five minute walk to the bus terminal to take you to Mexico City. The minibus terminal is a bit farther and will take you to Teotihuacán for 8 pesos. Lots of nearby good dining options.
