Not sure how long this one's gonna last. There are many very old washed out boards boards saying parking is not allowed, one even says it is reserved for ambulances. Fact is it is being occupied free of charge by workers of firms around since months if not years.
Stayed here three very quiet nights. Very convenient if you have any business in the area. Buses or trains will take you anywhere.
Just make sure not to reach here before end of day when all cars are leaving or you might not find a spot. Some are level, some not so. Also discretion is advised to avoid attract unnecessary attention.

Large parking reserved for clients. But it looks like the hotel is only open in summer, making it a nice spot rest of the year. We were there in October 2021. There are otherwise official, free parking slots in the lane adjacent to the parking (other side of the hotel.)

Beautiful bay and golden sand beach with a parking where campers are tolerated. Top notch!

Amazing spot free of charge, looking like a camping in a park, with 5 spaces + more outside the park. Very quiet, free electricity, water and a toilet (closed in winter). Minutes walk from bakery, supermarket and more.

Very quiet square in Bedoues village, fountains around, no amenity. Free parking.

Free and nice, black waters OK, toilets, free parking and water included.

Beautiful town, large, quiet parking free of charge with a dump station next to it.

Free parking in this quiet and level lane. Zero traffic at night and hardly any after 7am.

Flat public parking situated between a nice park on the lake side, and a wastewater treatment plant. Stayed 2 nights and can say there's hardly any foul smell coming from the plant.
Parking is allowed max. 10 hours during daytime, no restriction at night, free of charge. Very quiet, great views. There's a toilet with washbasin and dust bins.
Large vehicles : can be tricky more than 6 meters (mine's almost 7), make sure to only use one space, it gets very busy during daytime and people will feel offended if you use two spaces.
P. S. Police regularly make a round at night but do not bother campers; let's see how long this lasts.

Parking lane along the road, max 10h during daytime, no restriction night time. Lot of traffic during the day, rather quiet at night.

Large gravel parking at the so-called Hohmatt in Macolin. A restaurant is close by, lots of possibilities for walks, biking and country skiing in winter. There's a swimming pool open between June to September 15 minutes walk away and a grocery store 20 minutes.

No amenities, so pack up in advance and make sure to leave the place pristine before leaving.

You need to take a cabin lift, or climb the mountain to reach here. There are various possible activities, such an adventure park, a zip line, sleighs and more. I found the more interesting is this church built by world famous architect Mario Botta (see pic).
At cabin lift's departure, there is a big water park with spa, great for both kids and parents.

Great spot, very quiet and close to country side and river for nice walks and jogging or cycling too.
The dumping is free of charge. To stay costs 20 for 24 hours, whether you stay less or not makes no difference. Electricity extra, all self use, no attendance.
It's a little costly, I think 10-15 per night would be fair. I hope they review the rate.

Large mechanical garage mostly for heavy trucks, but they gladly accept lighter trucks. They also have extended knowledge of campers and can help especially in the field of electricity (as I was told).
It's not cheap, but as they say, each minute will be used wisely for the most serious and smart repair. Check Google comments.

We're traveling by car this time, and occupying a bungalow for 3, costs 104 euros all inclusive.
Many campers around, town centre is 10 minutes walk, beach only 5 minutes but not too nice. Nice camping.

Beautiful and quiet area, the hotel has been closed down for at least 5 years. No sign saying not allowed to park.

Huge parking lot inside the forest and next to the road. Used during weekends as parking lot for football matches in nearby ground. Fountain with drinkable water across the road, lots of possibilities for long walks around, 10 minutes drive from Biel.

Very quiet and nice highway park & rest. Maximum 15 hours parking allowed although I doubt it is enforced.
The place is huge, it has modern toilets, games for kids, an arboretum and table/benches for picnic.

Very quiet and nice level parking in a posh residential area. Small lake, lots of tables and trails for hikes in the hills.

"The Anabaptist Bridge". There is a large space that fits any size of vehicle on the side of the small road that leads here. Extremely quiet, perfect for a short visit and a night stay.

Very cool zoo centered on crocodiles but not only. Plenty of other animals and birds, including tigers, lions, even a cassowary!
The whole area around the park is very green and quiet, a perfect place for jogging. Probably possible to camp at park's parking or other spots around. Just ask.

Place is gorgeous, luckily, we're only paying 30 soles after negotiating a little. That's for our 25feet RV and three of us. Got a key for a room with shower as well. Warning, I got an electric shock with the shower...

Well Police stopped us exactly here and wanted us to go to a bank to pay the fine for not having the lights on. Asked forgiveness for this time and he was OK to let us go.

Nobody there when we reached tonight. Place looks good with a sign saying campsite

Late evening, dark, wanted to do a uturn and accidentally landed here. We asked the locals next to the tienda if OK to park for the night, they immediately said sure and showed us a level area right in front of the church, opposite a football and basket fields. Our daughter befriended with the shy, friendly local teenagers.
Became very quiet once the local church finished their business.

I wasn't able to find this place.

We stopped yesterday evening on our way to San Rafael and had a good dinner at MiKasa. Food was good, 4$
I asked the owner if it was all right to camp on the main street, and he happily redirected me to this ground behind, where we had a very quiet night. Public baños next door on main street.

About 30 refugees at the entrance, had to wait about 10 minutes, then everything went pretty fast, less than an hour in total. No vaccination required for our daughter 😊

Excellent situation, very quiet and friendly workers who showed us where to park (away from the road) didn't ask us anything, very quiet with noise of a stream for a perfect night before heading to Ecuador.
