Store it SA

In our opinion this the best place in South Africa to storage your motorhome or truck even for long time. We storaged our truck for one year. It has a separate garage with a locked gate and electricity. The owner, Steve and Sharon, are very very friendly and helpful.
They live there and the storage is heavily gated, there are several cameras and dogs in the night. Highly recommended.

Thula Thula Game Reserve

It was a rainy day and we visit this place because we were interested in „Nana“ and her history, for we read the book, too. At the main gate we heard after a telephone call of the security that there is no way to come in without booking. It seemed like more guests are are not necessary

Caroline and Walter are really very very friendly. We stayed there for nearly two weeks. Electric 110/220, water, dump, fast WiFi. It was a great time to learn more about the „Donauschwaben“. They have a very interesting history. Nearly everybody speaks German and you can visit the museum, the memorial and several restaurants. Very good food at restaurant Brot & Cafe near by. A must visit is suabia (Schwaben-Bräu) in village No. 2, a modern Pub with very good selfmade beers and good food (Currywurst, Fleischkäse, Burgers ...). Highly recommended.

Camping La Casa de los Sueños

A very good place to visit the market of the Indigenas on Tuesday. 10 minutes to town by feet. The place has two parts and two gates. One gate is the entrance for glambing and 50 meters down the street is the entrance for motorhomes. No height limit. It a green area and space for about 5 motorhomes. From there you can use the toilets and showers of the glambing area. Short way to there, 30 meters, very clean. WiFi fast. Theo and his family are very friendly. We arrived at 7pm and the door was open but they told us that we cannot stay because today is no security man inside. It's a nice landscape but there was no way to stay there. We had to leave and they closed the door and we had to look for another sleeping place (Pemex). We thought it was not very friendly.

Pepe's RV Park
