I wasn't able to find this place.

Ry & Kry Slaghuis (butchery)

Brilliant meat merchants with a wide range on offer especially game meat in the likes of Oryx and Springbok. Able to vacuum pack. Biltong too!

Signs indicating that you're crossing the Tropic of Capricorn and also space to pull over to take a picture going north or south.

Farm Stall

Farm stall with restaurant, children's play area and farm animals. Nice safe spot to stop for a coffee and/or meal especially with children who can expend their pent up energy from sitting in a car all day in a safe, healthy environment. Takeaways too!

Shell Mariental

Advice below noted and utilised. No issues at this Shell today - felt safe, its clean and a nice proper main road fuel and refresher stop spot!

Couldn't find this place. Nowhere to be seen anywhere near this check-in and road intersection.

All modern facilities including fully self catering, air con, Wi-Fi, oven with stove top hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and proper ground coffee with press. There are other fuel stations (Shell) available in this town visible and accessible from the main road. One is open 24 hours.

Coffee is proper, but parking is hard to find. If heading to Swakopmund, be sure to visit their HO and cafe there rather where parking is guaranteed! Whole beans up to 1 kg bags available for the road, with a variety of hand brewing coffee accessories.

Outjo bakery

Quite busy in the mornings so if one doesn't mind waiting for the coffee then its a worthwhile stop. Takeaways too!

Aleens BnB

Great value and perfect overnight stop spot! For 2 adults and our two children of 1 and 5 years we paid N$500 for the use of the 4 bed room at the north side of the property with all below mensioned. Very clean and cosy. This room also has its own covered outside area to eat, sit and chill in. Contact Maybaleen to secure a room at +264 81 209 5833. Highly recommend this special place!

Same direction of travel and experience as per UniMog below.

Okaukuejo Fuel Station

Card machine offline, but would fill up outside the park anyway as prices always slightly cheaper outside anyway. Had tire pressure adjusted - no expected charge as per usual.

Pan lookout

Impressive spot to view the expance of the pan northwards. Alighting, driving on or walking on pan is forbidden as per concrete sign. Road here from turn off on C38 is pretty corrugated.

Toilet/picnic stop spot

Long drop toilets, non hygenic. Concrete picnic table and benches under cover with rubbish bins.

Ondongab waterhole

Dry waterhole with no animals, but some animal tracks leading too and from the pan.

Long drop toilet with rubbish disposal bin outside.

Nebrownii waterhole and memorial

Nebrownii waterhole. Nice spot and a variety of game!
