Fairly quiet night except for the trains. Spent the night near the boat ramp because the main parking lot was very busy. Showers/water no longer available

A bit noisy, but definitely does the job especially when options are limited in town. If you park closer to U-Haul, you can get their wifi

Great BLM, lots of spots to park (more limited options for big rigs) especially for a van or truck camper. We parked closer to the hill and found a very secluded spot. Great night, very quiet. Intermittent cell service

Great little BLM site about a mile from I40. Easy access, trees for shade, about 10 dispersed sites & fire rings. Cell service 3 bars LTE

Good spot to spend the night before or after crossing the border at Tecate. We spoke to security and they said we didn’t need to check it. We parked by the dune away from the casino and had a very quiet night, except for the wind. It’s a very windy location
