Nice and quite, starting point for hikes to Velmestot, Externsteine and many others. Also possible for big rigs, take the back.

Camp area for motorhomes under trees, 5 min walk to the beach, nice spot, may be crowded in high season, lots of surfers around. 17€/day, night, next day (you have to leave before 8 pm). Less in mid or low season.

Very nice and delicious jewish restaurant, try the dumplings or the duck!!!

August 13th, 2018 Biwak site

Nice picknick site on gras with a woodfire and some shelters where you can stay for a night. Very quite in the forest, only one friendly guy living in a lonely house next to the place.

August 9th, 2018 Polytechnica Sport Complex

Grassy campsite with some trees, completely fenced, between railways and main road. You get the key for the gate at the reception, where you can register and pay before (50 PLN all inklusive).Hot and clean showers about 100 m away in the sports building. Mo/Wed/Fri afternoon you can use the swimming hall (1,5 PLN PP). Tram to city center 150 m by foot, one way (4stops) ist 3,2PLN

August 7th, 2018 Between lake and sea

Large sandy area next to the road. Only,50 m over the dune to reach the baltic sea. Some spots need 4wd. Nice, but myriads of moskitos in the evening

August 4th, 2018 Naturcamping am Mössensee C25

Nice natural campsite, you can choose if you want to camp between trees or on lawn. No distance to the lake, small beach and canoe access. They also have canoes to rent. Ppn € 4,-, big mobile home 8,-€, family rate ist 13€ for parents with all own children under 18 years. Small shop with everything you need. Fresh rolls in the morning.

August 2nd, 2018 Parking Am Baggersand

Huge parking lot, 4€fee for the day between 10 am and 6 pm, free during night. You can see the big ferries coming out from scandinavian Quai. Quite, Supermarket 100 m away

May 22nd, 2018 Amsterdam City Camp

Fenced parking lot near City Center, no toilets or sanitarys, space for 50 mobile homes, no Caravans allowed, 24h for18-21€ (depends on season) plus 2,5€ ppn, free WiFi (slow). Free ferry to Central Station in distance of 10min walk

June 26th, 2017 Swakopmund - Alte Brücke

Facilities as written below, really nice own ablution block. A little bit like camping in prison with lots of high walls... Price is 180 per site plus 100 ppn

Great waterhole, campsite as usual in nwr-camps. Like all other nwr-camps ways too expensive ( price til 9/217 see namutoni- camp). Even wifi will be charged additionally!

Nice camp as written below . Every site has its own bathroom. Price is now 180N$ ppn, children til 12 stay for free.

June 12th, 2017 Mesosaurus Fossil Camp + Bushcamp

Nice quiet camp as written below, we paid 120 ppn, but they did not charge the children. Fantastic sky in the night!

June 11th, 2017 Vioolsdrift Lodge

Nice campsite, some animals around (dog, cats, springbock, tortoise). Price is 130 ppn, we negotiated the price for children, normally half price

June 11th, 2017 Quiver Tree Forest

Much to expensive as always in Namibia:entrance is 60 PP over 10(!) Yeats, 40 per car, children younger than 10 half price. Camping is additional 130 ppn. So for our family (2+4) for one night more than 800 $ - ridiculous!!!

Much too expensive: they wanted for 2 adults and 4 children 440R in low season . We did not stay...

June 9th, 2017 African Overlanders

Nice camp, but still under construction. The coordinates only mark the point you leave the main road, then you have to follow the gravel road for 1km and turn left (small sign). The owners Elli and Duncan are very nice and helpfull. Now 70R ppn over 12, but all our children stayed for free.

June 7th, 2017 Waterfront parking

We used the bus parking for the night, it was safe and quiet in the back. But be careful when its stormy: we had a big storm, went away at 4 am and saw the next day lots of stones that came with the waves exactly to the place we camped on... And the site was flooded...

Campsite with huge trees, small old buildings, not too nice. Low season price now 190 R for place with 2 persons, add. person 40 R, children the same.

June 6th, 2017 Chapmans Peak Drive

Very nice and touristic drive aling the coast, toll 42_R, Attention !!!! height restriction 3 m, wide restriction 2,1m

June 4th, 2017 Struisbaai Karavan Park

Huge campsite without trees with direct access to the beach, a little bit old but OK. Low season price was 124R per site ( up to 6 persons).

June 3rd, 2017 Harkerville Forest Lodge

Nice terassed Campsite with playground and zipline for kids, well maintained and safe. We paid 280 R for 2 adults and 4 children in low season.

June 2nd, 2017 Robberg Island Nature Reserve

Peninsula with great hiking tracks and amazing views. Sanpark, entrance fee 40R or wildcard.

June 1st, 2017 Bloukrans River Camp

Not accessable with trucks.

June 1st, 2017 Storms River Mouth Rest Camp

Campsite as written below, low season price from 1. may til 30. september is 300 per site fir two persobs without electricity, 340 with power and 360 with power and view. Add. Person 82/41 under 12 years. Very nice and not crowded in low season! Nice walks, very good laundry with dryer.

May 30th, 2017 Jeffreys Bay Caravan Park

Large campsite directly at the beach, no fence on beachside, but nightwatch so we did not feel unsafe. Low season price was 208,20R per site with 2 persibs, add. Person 28R. Children til 12 stay free. Nice sandy beach with a few rocks, surfspots about 1 km away.

May 27th, 2017 Homestead B&B

Cute campground, ablution etc a little bit old, but OK. Now 300 R per place.

May 24th, 2017 Oribi Nature Reserve

5 campsites on grass, small but clean ablutions, friendly staff. No access to the gorge with a truck due to small road, even the road to the campsite was a challenge because of low trees. We paid 90 ppn, children til 12 were free.
