Arisaig Provincinal Park

Parking space for the park. Very nice, at least 10 slots for big rigs. Nice trails to the beach, picknick tables and pit toilet. No no signs.

FREE external warm shower

The showers are ice cold and waiting does not help - WARNING

Reserve Point Daly

Big parking lot at trail head, no no signs, toilets and picknick tables, fast WIFI, very calm at night. Noone bothered us. Perfect!

Beautiful spot St Simone

Rest area, good for overnight. No no signs, nobody bothered us. Beautiful place at the sea with picknick tables and toilet.

Rest stop with a view

Good for one night. No signs. Beautiful view.

Oasis Carignan

Very nice place in the middle of a little forest, very nice and friendly hosts, currently space for only one RV (no tent camping), $15 CND per night including 15 AMP and water, 20 km to Montral, reservation required before arrival via telephone 450-447-6694 or by email [email protected]

Little A'Le'Inn

Great place for UFO fans!!! Also amazing hosts and drycamping for free.

Street to gate of Area 51

This is the entry point to the gravel road (about 12 miles) which goes right to the back gate of Area 51.

Bottomless Lakes State Park, Near Roswell

Very nice campground and camp hosts. Uploaded more photos.

Apache trail

Warning, not possible with an RV from this point on.

El Valle RV Park

Warning! Entrance road to the RV park is only passable with 4x4 vehicles.

Misiones RV Park (formerly Manfred's RV Park)

Very nice place to stay overnight. Very friendly and english speaking hosts. Recommended.

Playa Miramar - Northern edge of Cabo Pulmo

Awesome place, we did it with our 22“ RV, no problemo. Met other overlanders.

Tabasco Beach Parking next to Las Cascadas. beach resort

200p to stay overnight, but after doing whal watching (bookable right on the beach for 50 USD), we drove away to Todos Santos. Did not feel safe enough here to stay for the night.

Santuario de la Mariposa Monarca Chincua – Estacionamiento

Stayed overnight. It is pitch dark up there, but seems there is security at the sanctuary. Be aware the dirt road is very steep, narrow and challanging. We managed it with our 22“ RV, but it was the max possible. Greaty butterfly watching though.

Pemex

Perfect overnight stay with a view. No wifi anymore.

Overlander Beach Campsite “Don Taco”.

Best campground we have gone in Mexico so far. Stayed for 4 days. The dutch owners are extremely friendly and helped with any request. Frans even helped us with a little repair in the RV. Facilities and Internet are superb. The dirt road is a challange but we made it down there with our standard 22“ RV. Frans also offers various boat trips. The beach is simpy stunning and just very few tourists. Warning: You might never want to leave!

Balneario Ejidal Buenavista

Stayed for two nights with a 22“ RV. Stunning place directly at the shore. The water is comparable to the Maledieves. Javier the host speaks english and is very helpful with any request. No power at sites, no wifi (we would have stayed longer with Internet conn). 350p per night.

Tulum Chedraui Parking Lot

Best free and safe spot to park your RV in Tulum. Ruins accessible by foot or bile (approx 3 km). 6 other Overlanders here.

Paa Mul RV Park and Cabanas

Stayed for two nights as we did not know where to go. Way too overpriced. Dirty sanitary facilities. Dont let them park you right in front of the office, there are more places on the peoperty and there is construction work going on all day.

Camping Cancun RV

We really can‘t understand some of the negative comments here. Wanted to stay for one night, stayed for two and enjoyed one of the best campgrounds we have seen on our tour through Mexico so far (after 8000 km already). The Mexican/Canadian owners Cristy and Paul were very friendly and the BBQ served was superb. Besides all facilities are close to an upscale RV park in the US/Canada. Thus, the 500p per night (two adults, dog, 22“ RV) were worth every Pesos. Also, the laundry devices were even better than most we had in the US and power hookup is stable at 125 Volts. You could also rent a car from them if you like. We would definitly come back!

Ecocamping Valladolid

Very narrow und challanging gravel road to the site. We could not make it with our 22“ RV with low undercarriage clearance. Had to turn around and that was not fun either. Beware! 4x4 or for vans only.

Hostal la ermita

As described before. No problem entering with our 22“ motorhome. You are allowed to bring your dog if well behaved and quiet.

pomuch graveyard

Creepy but interesting stop on the way to Merida.

Commercial parking lot

As described before, 100p per night. Cool security guard, safe and quiet place. VERY close to the historic center. Great!!!

Freedom Shores

Paid 300p for beach site 22“ spot for one night. Okay place, but Internet failed yesterday. Lots of local Mexicans at the hotel beach. Power all the time on high voltage 140 Volts, BEWARE if u dont have an EMS before pluggin in.

Maya Bell Campground

Very nice place. Howling monkeys all around at night. Close to the ruins, nice pool, bar and restaurant. Laundry service. However, there are 10 extreme Topes on the only way here and they broke our Graywater tank. RVs with low undercarriage clearance BEWARE!

pemex

Fenced and safe location, 50p for 12h. Good for overnight (little noisy as directly at the highway). Nice shop, toilets. Security guards friendly and speak english.
