Great big parking lot with plenty of security lights. There are trees for shade in certain areas. Police drove by several times but never stopped. $11 Uber ride to French quarter or a 1 hour walk. Nice find.

Really nice, quiet spot. The toilets seem to be open 24hours and they are super clean! The sheriff looks like he might live at the house at the end. No one bothered us. Perfect place to camp!

We were here during the busy season. We were worried we would have to leave because of all the people, but we didn’t! No one bothered us and it was an actually really quiet night. The toilets at the bus station were open until midnight. Awesome town!

An amazing campsite indeed! There is a height limit to go under the bridge of about 3meters to get to the best camp spots. But if you can’t fit under the bridge there is camping closer to the highway. Great for tents, roof tops tents, everything! Recommend!!

Fast free WiFi at the ANCAP fuel station

We stayed here during busy season and on the weekend and it was actually really nice! Not too crowded and not very loud after 11pm. Highly recommend.

Got my hair cut here! The lady was so funny and friendly. Could not understand a word of her castellano! She cut my hair for 100 u.pesos. Highly highly recommend.

Nice camping area with grills and electricity, but it is next to the highway so it can be loud at night. Only 1 other overlander here during the week. The owner, Cacho says that the price is strictly voluntario. We paid 100 pesos for one night for 2 people and a truck. There is potable water behind the bathrooms.

The price is now 175 pesos per person kids are 130p. Open 9am-7pm every day.

New update! Bathrooms are finished! There are showers available now! 50pesos if you don’t buy fuel and 10pesos if you do buy fuel. WiFi works and is average.

The women’s shower is closed and we couldn’t find the men’s? Maybe it’s behind some locked doors that we couldn’t see? I don’t know. Better luck to you.

Very beautiful campsite indeed! Lots of places between the trees and next to the water. Unfortunately we were here on a Sunday and it was insane so we did not stay here.

Big grassy field with a beautiful view of Ushuaia from a short distance away. Lots of locals until the sunset and then we were alone for the rest of night. One car pulled up with loud music but left after one song. Highly recommend for watching the sunset and the view of the city at night! 👍🏼

Seafood is good but the portion size is super small for the high prices. We were disappointed with our end of our journey celebration dinner. The service was poor and it seemed like they just wanted to capitalize on tourism and not care for the actual people.

Several spots all with asado grills and a nice playground for kids. We came here on a Wednesday and were alone until 7:30pm when 3 cars showed up blasting music and having a bbq. luckily they left by 10:30pm but of course they left all of their garbage just like the crowds from the weekend before. The place is littered with bottles and cans. If you need a place to stay during the week this is an ok option but on the weekend it is probably out of control.

If you don’t have to stay here then don’t. There were semi trucks loading and unloading at 3:00am! Tons of traffic showed up at 7am to que up for the ferry. The bathrooms were open in the morning but there was a huge line. But it’s free!

WiFi is actually pretty fast. We were able to skype with it!

We asked really really nicely and they said they don’t have showers :( the toilets are open though.

The WiFi and the password still work! Pretty fast WiFi. We just sat in the parking lot and no one bothered us. Good find!
