Ecocentro Holanda | Not great. 90Q for two adults one 2 year old. Parking only no use of the pool no internet, nada. Pricey for what you get. After 7 pm toilets are 100 yards away across a pond. No electric at sights and unwilling to let us plug our fridge in elsewhere. Pretty parking lot with guard. |
El Arbol | Great little breakfast place. All natural ingredients. Veggie sandwich with fruit and smoothie 40Q. Lila ingredients, Eggs etc. delicious! |
Queen Bean | Local food restaurant. Good good food good tunes beach side. We came here for dinner then slept in the beachfront dirt lot. No charge, gave her 10B to plug in my fridge cooler. |
Lamanai Riverside Retreat | Great place just as everyone says. Only ones here right now. Quick walk to town. |
Kuauitl | Organic and Local. Great food! Had a fish burrito that was the best I've had since I don't know when |
Trailer Park Teotihuacan | Ok place $270 a night for our VW. Owner super nice and helpful with getting around and finding what you need. The little stream (sewer?) outside the park stunk so parking away from the fence was preferable. Bathrooms not cleaned regularly and the bathroom away from the main building has seen much better days. Like others have said the Dalmatian can be aggressive. It regularly lunged at our dog when we were away from the van and growled, barked and followed my wife when using the bathroom at night. Wifi was strong. |

Hostel Allende | Was $250MX for a room with full size bed and it's own bathroom. We were on the bottom floor and it was quite loud from other guests. Lots of kids. Parked on the street. Secure parking available on the same street for 55 pesos from 8pm to 10 am. Good location fast wifi. |
La Carreta | Restaurant specializing in carne. Very good! |
Hostel Mazatlan | This place was a nice break from the trailer park. Same price $300MX per night for a big room with double bed. Parked on the street no problems. Bikes to use if you want and right near the main square in old town. Easy to take a bus to the more flashy areas of Maz if that's your thing. Rooftop hang out area with kitchen. Rooms with air-con are $400. Wifi was fine. Good place to stay before or after the ferry. They are working on some dorm rooms currently so those should offer even cheaper rates for travelers. |

Hostel Mazatlan | New hostel in old town Mazatlan |

Color Marino Hotel and RV Park | It's open under a new name. $250 a night great swimming pool friendly English speaking staff. |
Villa Celeste Resort | Stayed here week. It was great. Awesome family that owns it. Super quiet for a few days then others rolled in and we had a great time. Beach is good for surfing and swimming. A 1 mile walk to town in the beach yields all you need. Pool. Water available. Laundry. Awesome. |
Villa Celeste Resort | Great place! Noah and his family are very accommodating and friendly. Their daughter was a month older than ours so that was a huge bonus. 200MX per night fast internet and a great beach. |
Geraldo's VW | Excellent mechanic! Taking great care of our van. Will update with detail and price after he is finished. The marker on here is wrong. He is on Modero not Allende. Right across from Baja Paradise |
Pension Baja Paradise | Decent place. Only ones here right now. 500 for a 2 room "suite" outdoor kitchen area. Wifi water etc. Owner lives on the third floor and has some loud dogs |
