This place is really - like the previous post already said - amazing! The staff is just awesome. We had beers together and felt at home really in the very first second. Spent christmas together and went to a great party.
We were 3 people, had 2 rooms one with a private bathroom and the other not. Including breakfast they charged us 38$!
Highly recommended!
Really small parking place so not suitable for roof top tents.

Campground close to the border to Tanzania. We camped here with our rooftop tent. Kind of tricky to find a place where you can level the car. We were the only guests so we could choose a place. Would be very difficult if more cars would have been here.
There is an extra area where you can put your tent on the ground. They also offer tents with a bed to sleep in.
Camping 1000pp, Tent depends of the size and is negotiable around 3000ksh.
For the water in the washrooms we had to pay extra - guess because we were the only guests and they had to turn the water on - anyway that was the first time we had to pay for the water to flush the toilet… They charged us 500ksh for that.
They sell beer and drinks at the bar.

Came here after Amboseli National Park and before going to Tanzania. Really nice place with a huge beautiful garden.

Friendly staff, cold beers, very cheap! Just awesome. 500ksh pp for camping. 2100ksh for a room, though. You can even spot Kilimanjaro from there.

Very basic, rooms are okay. Paid 1200 ksh for a room with two beds and bathroom.
Restaurant is very cheap and food is good!

Stoped here on our way from Nairobi to Mombasa. Nice little place. Camped with our car at the parking slot. 500pppn for camping and 500pppn for using the bathroom of a hotel room.

Camped here on our way to Masai Mara. 1000ksh pppn. Friendly staff. We could use the toilet and shower of a guest room.

Now 1500ksh pppn.
We ask for a better price because we arrived kind of late and would have left really early to go to Masai Mara, so we really just wanted to park our car and sleep in the tent, but they didn’t change the price so we didn’t stay.

Water Park with a lot of slides! Very funny for an alternative day event. We enjoed it a lot. There are no deep water areas for swimming, though. Felt like a place only for kids but it‘s actually more for adults to have fun!
Payed 1800ksh.

Nice Hostel with pool and relaxing area. Lot of dogs running around and protect you of the blue ball minkeys :D.
We could park and camp with our roof top tent at the parking area in front of the hostel.

Very nice place! You really can park right in front of the sea! A lot of friendly dogs running around, but be aware of the monkeys ;)!
The beach boys are friendly and are in our opinion not too demanding.
They are offering you snorkeling trips in the lagoon by low tide for 700ksh including snorkeling equipment. And for a bit more they show you a place with a lot of huge starfishes. Really worth it.
Eddy is a nice host and charge you 500ksh pppn.

Not really suitable for campers but we could camp with our car at a parking slot in front of the hostel. 800 ksh pppn.
Nice place and restaurant. Beach is really close, but because of a lot of locals\beach boys at the hotel pool and beach area it was a bit uncomfortable going in the water.
Beach boys behave like they are on drugs.
Friendly stuff, good kitchen and hostel vibes. A lot of dogs and monkeys are running around what makes it really special!

Nice place, You kind of get your own beach by yourself! They opened up a room for us to use the shower and the toilet. Unfortunatly only salt water showers.
The food is also very good.
We camped here for 3 nights. When it came to paying the bill, Eddy charged us for things he never mentioned that they aren’t free. For example the „beds“ where we relaxed in the sun or the „fruit salad“ (which was just two slices of melon) after dinner.
These things weren’t expensive of course but we think it was not honest and ruined a bit the good vibes we had before.
So be aware! In the end still a really nice place to go though :)

Thanks for adding this place! We also stopped here on our way to lamu. In the beginnig we were a bit afraid of wild camping but it was the best decision. This place is so peaceful and quiet.
The way here leads to very poor areas of Kenya. Because of missing rain there were a lot people, especially kids, running towards our car asking for water. We gave as much as we could away. If we had known that before we would have bought more water to be able to give away more. We also gave food away, so if you come here maybe buy some extra stuff to help the people atound here a bit. They were really happy and thankful for every little bit we gave them.

Very very beautiful campsite! The way is, like the other posts already said, a bit challenging in the end but with a 4x4 no problem at all!
The staff is very friendly, they offered us a chunk of wood for 300 kSh to make a bonfire. Totally recommended. We were the only guests at this time and paid 1000 KSh pP.

The park is really beautiful!
We saw rhinos, lions, buffalos, zebras, monkeys, pelikans, flamingos and so on. We camped at the only public campsite and paid for 24 hours+ camping+ car 133$ for two persons. It is quite expenisive but in our opinion worth it.
We were the only guest for camping so we were completly alone, a buffalo was grasing during the night around our tent.

Very nice decorated place with a good view over the lake. The toilets and showers are really nice!
We came with our own car and tent and paid 1000 Ksh p.P per night.

The Name is not lodge camping but spring park hotel.
Basic Campsite. They opened a room for us where we could have a shower and go to toilet.

Better to camp than Sipi Falls Lodge, more grass and great view of the valley from the parking lot. The staff let us use the kitchen for washing up but be aware of the chickens. Bathroom was in one of the rooms, very basic. Staff is very friendly and there is a nice little bar with view of the waterfall. 25,000 ugx pppn.

We stoped over in Gogonyo on our way from Jinya to Mbale. A family invited us to stay in their bqckyard and showed us around. Ask for Mr. Raj

The cam was closed because of covid when we arrived but they let us stay anyway. They charged us 10$ p.P for a night.
The facilities are new.
The falls can be visited next to the camp for a entrance fee of 10K p.P.
We totally recommend to walk back the road to the city. After around 10 minutes you find a shop on the right hand side where you can ask for a beer. The people are totally friendly and walked us around the village.

Amazing view! We were the only guest and we camped there with our car. The staff was very friendly and we were allowed to shower in one of the guest rooms.
