Description

We traveling by bicycle and took this border from the Guinea side to SL. In Koundou we got the exit stamp with some problems. The border river you have to cross with a small boat (motorcycle also possible).
The entry stamp we got in Koidu in the immigration office.

Border crossing for pedestrians of motorbikes
The road upto kandou is rough but fun on a motorbike. It is possible by 4x4 in dry season.
The road to border is motorbike only and the ferry which is just a wooden cannot can bring (big) motorbikes. (Bit scary)

I didn't get any exit stamp. The chief of customs tried to sell me some document but after I refused to pay they let me go with the papers.
The locals are all super happy to see and help me.
On the otherside the officials are friendly and told me to get passport stamp In kaidu.

I didn't have visa or carnet of anything but didn't seem to be a problem

The road upto kaidu is much the same with lots of curious people in many villages.

In kaidu there is immigration office on Postal road 17. Upstairs.
Entrance through alley on the right side.
The chief said the stamp cost 80 USD
He accepted 50 usd.
