Street parking a long Mapleton Street on front of fields. There are no signs that prohibit parking overnight. We stayed here two nights. Just keep in mind the Spring/Summer there are softball/kickball league games going on between 6pm-9pm so parking is very limited between these times. After 9pm, parking slowly start to appear and you can stay overnight.
10/6/20 - Cops came and made everyone leave.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I thought it was cool. No "no" signs, and maybe 10 other people obviously sleeping in their vehicles. Maybe 30 minutes after I got there, police came and swept the place. They were cool, but they definitely made everyone leave. They said the entire city has a rule against sleeping in vehicles and they would ticket me if they came back and I was still here. They came in with 2 cars and 4 guys and went down the line to get everyone out.
Ended up leaving boulder.
Report Check-InStayed here a couple of times! Baseball as and other ball games going on until 9 pm then very quiet! Nobody bothers you! Close to shops aand
Report Check-InStill a great spot. Plenty of room, nice and quiet. We’re in a 30’ Skoolie and fit with no problem.
Report Check-InShowed up around 7, street was pretty full due to softball league. Around 9 it was mostly empty. Super quiet besides one train horn. Great street parking close to downtown
Report Check-InWalking distance to: Whole Foods, Torchy’s, Target, a brewery, etc.
Peaceful enough to get decent sleep.
Bathrooms available at the field but closed currently for covid.
Report Check-InEasy parking, quiet area and felt safe. Several other vans and RVs there. But honestly, if this spot is full, it seems that Boulder is very easy going with parking for the night on streets beside parks and along residential streets.
Report Check-InRelatively quiet street, a few vans parked here overnight. Assertive late, leave early, was not bothered
Report Check-InThis area is still valid, this is a long established spot in Boulder. There are many local vans here on an average night. It's a bit busy with morning commuters but OK if you sleep heavy or leave early.
