Dirt road on the edge of Death Valley. There are some nice pull-offs if you don't want to go too far or more further in. Wonderful America for her vast public lands. In all our travels all over the world, the American West is still the only true free place with space enough to be alone. May America always have the wide open spaces! Decent cell reception too!

Great little place. There’s more down further but this was great for a night.
Report Check-Ingreat spot to stay at before heading into the park. typically desert camping. Verizon & T-Mobile hotspot work here.
Report Check-InSpent two nights here while exploring Death Valley. It was really windy the first night, but calm the second. Be prepared for that possibility. Had the spot to myself both nights, though there were others camped a bit closer to the highway. Made it just fine in my sedan without really any worry of getting stuck.
Report Check-InAs described. Easy level spaces and good Verizon cell service. Let’s connect on Instagram! @the_nomadic_experience
Report Check-InAmazing secluded spot with great views! Great Verizon reception too. Even saw some wild donkeys when we arrived! easily accessible with 2WD just go slow.
Report Check-InWe drove about 3/4 mile down the bumpy gravel road to escape the road noise. Nice spot with good Verizon service. Quiet night.
Report Check-InCouple spots near the highway, a few more deeper down the trail. Good LTE with Verizon
Report Check-InJust as the reviews prior...
going west into the park, before the cattle guard turn left onto gravel road. There are 3-4 really nice level spots with fire ring. We drove passed those initial spots and went another half mile down and a couple others. So if you don't want to be close to the road, just keep going. It doesn't look like there would be any more sites, but there is.
No amenities of course, and the road wasn't that bad at all.
spot on the pin is the main spot to go to, it's large enough for about 5 vans. We drove in with our 24ft class C, and the road is a bumpy gravel road, but not too bad.
However we saw people already camped there and it was night time so we tried going a bit further to see if there were other spots. After a bit and noticing on satellite view that they weren't we tried to turn around on what was soft sand.
Got stuck for the night, luckily those camping at this location were able to pull us out with two 4x4s.
If you get stuck here, the only tow truck that might come help is this one from Amargosa about 1hr away:

If you pass this spot just go in reverse, it's safer than trying to u turn ;)
Report Check-InGreat spot! Very quiet just outside the park. Went down the dirt road about half a mile and slept well
Report Check-InAwesome spot, very quiet. If you want to go to one of the further sites, just know that you have to drive until you feel like you're never going to see another spot and then keep driving - they're out there! And worth the extra few minutes.
Report Check-InPull off the road next to the cattle grate and the welcome to Nevada sign. It’s a washboard road with lots of pullouts and out 2WD sprinter did just fine. Beautiful spot! Not protected from wind but lovely place. Great LTE signal
Report Check-Into use for Titus Canyon trail: hings change fast and your information will be much more useful with a time reference (nevermind if you don't remember exactly, year and month is fine in that case).

Report Check-InRight at California-Nevada border. There is a cattle guard at the turnoff. Did fine on the gravel road with our 2WD Transit. A few nice big pull-offs near entrance, didn't go too far in. Flat terrain with mountains all around. Nice place to post up to visit the park without the 1-mile off the road rule. Had cell service (T-Mobile)
Report Check-InGreat spot! A few places to pull out and park. Clean and no people. Amazing at night for stars, 360 view. Good Verizon LTE.
Report Check-InGreat site just outside of Death Valley. Clean and please help keep it that way! Exposed so if it is windy or the weather is bad, well you will be exposed. Like everything else out here. Sites along the road and pretty spread out, so as always don’t be afraid to drive a little bit and get away from the highway. Fire rings at most locations.
