Great off road spot, easy to get to. A few spots to camp along the way but not near other people. At the base of the mountains. Open space, rock fire pit. Kid & pet friendly. Average phone service.
Must have permit

Holy Pot holes. This is the most pot holes I've seen on a road. I have a 32ft Class A with low clearance. I found one spot, but it's next to the road and I have dogs, so I'm leaving. It might be because there is an event going on nearby. You can make it through the road, but it is rough. Beautiful views though. Not much privacy.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot!!! Very easy to find and get to. So far very peaceful as well.
Report Check-Inperfect at this spot. the view is perfect and very quiet.
a lot of spot everywhere. we have a 24 foot and find with any problem.
there are some bigger VR.
if you have a 4x4 you can find a spot more deep on the side.
Easy to get in and out, big campsite with fire pit. TMobile 1 bar, slow internet but works. Very quiet but near the main road to go hiking. Saw horses in a distance. Paid $15 per individual on land.az.gov (as someone mentioned permit can be used anytime within 12 months).
Report Check-InAbsolutely stunning views of the Superstition mountains. There are several sites on the way to this pin, and larger rigs should note that the road does get a bit tougher the further you go. Get the permit and enjoy this spectacular site. It gets busy in the winter, but there's room for everyone. Great Verizon signal.
Report Check-InNice spot. And many to choose Lots of movement/activity. Many trails and beautiful views.
We paid a $20 camping fee that is good for 12 months. There are signs that tell you how to pay. (Someone stopped by and said you don’t have to pay but we did anyway)
Highly recommended!!!
Report Check-InWell maintained, packed dirt road. We had no problems getting in with our 30ft class A. Lots of flat turn outs for boondocking. You need a $30 permit from azland.gov. Road is busy with atvs and cars during the day. Beautiful views of mountains and cactus
Report Check-InThis land is Arizona trust land. You need a permit to be anywhere on it (day use or overnight). There is a small patch of BLM land closer to the peralta trailhead but it is not easy to get to.
Huge fines are given if you are in state land trust land without a permit. Don’t know how often they check or if they do at all. The website boasts that $100,000 of fines/year are given to people “mis-using the land”.
