very peaceful and remote. right on the lake. decent cell reception. parking for sprinter sized van. would not recomment an RV.

Very secluded and the drive was fun! I recommend a 4wd vehicle, a lot of mud and ruts. Easily accessible in my f150
Spent the whole night and morning. Felt safe and secluded. Not a single person or other car all night. Great spot. Please keep it clean.
Stay a Wednesday night in the summer and never ran into anyone else ran the generator all night with no issues. Absolutely beautiful spot but is currently covered in trash. Will be getting some contractor bags for the rest of our trip. Great for vans or trucks. Road is to small for anything over a class b
Report Check-InJust stopped in to check this place out. It is free. It is quiet. I’m not a big fan, but it works. There’s a truck with several tarps built up like a house. Seems like someone’s sort of living out here, for more than just a few nights. I’m heading south.
Happy travels all!
Report Check-InNice loop with 2-3 spots and a view of the lake! Very muddy, almost got stuck with my 2wd after a rainstorm. 1 bar Verizon lte.
Report Check-InI saw 3 fire rings around the loop. We were the only camper here on a "cold" front for Texas (July=humid). Locals rode around with their UTV/ATVs. Remote and quiet otherwise. Enjoy the lake view.
