Single entry visa for 30 days valid only for the duration you wrote in the application.
50,000 CFA for more than 1 week processing time.
70,000 CFA for express in 3-4 days.
I paid 50,000 CFA but I begged her to expedite the process.
I applied at 3 PM on Monday and received it on Friday of the same week.
An invitation letter was required, but since I didn't have it, she asked me to pay an additional 5,000 CFA, so I paid a total of 55,000 CFA.
Only French speaking.

Requirements
- Passport
- Copy of passport ID
- 2 photos
- Copy of yellow fever vaccination
- Invitation letter (not necessary but it's safer to have one)

I had an issue at the Garoua Boulai border.
The immigration officer demanded 10,000 CFA, which I refused to pay.
They told me that I needed to get a stamp of confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the embassy in Yaoundé.
If not, I would have to carry a message of visa confirmation from the Foreign Affairs office in Bangui.
They almost threatened me, saying if the Foreign Affairs office refused, I can't enter the CAR.
Since it was nearly impossible to contact the Foreign Affairs office or the CAR embassy in Yaoundé at that moment, I gave up and paid 5,000CFA after being stuck in the office for over an hour.
After I paid, I received the stamp in 10 minutes like it was nothing.
I was asked the exact same thing at the police checkpoint, 50km from the border, and my CARan friend had to pay 10,000 CFA for me.
It was obviously unnecessary.
Make sure you have everything while at the embassy.

very friendly people! went there with copies of passport/ cameroon visa/ yellow fever cert.. The guy (who speaks some englsih) will give you a form to fill. He told me i takes a week... after 8 days i could collect the visa...very slow. Paid 70000xfa/ 30days/ fixed dates/ Single entry and got a reciept. Offically this should be the express fee but according to him it was not possible to do it faster. He also asked for a invitation Letter- i emailed Lambert from the Dzanga shanga NP and he send me one within one hour (for free).

Very friendly embassy, express visa 70k CFA same day, normal 50k about a week as they said. Got express one in 3 hours.

Yellow fever vaccination

Easy one.
