Description

If you are in Ensenada and are looking for some amazing, affordable, authentic ceviche, go to La Guerrerense. It is a food stall on the North corner of the intersection at these coordinates. Ceviche is PILED atop a crunchy tostada, served with fresh avocado and Guerrerense brand salsas (hot sauces, people, not American "salsa"). There are countless varieties to choose from (cod, shrimp, clam, tuna, mussels, etc), but my favorite was the Mixto (yep, a delicious mix of the whole shabang). Braden got a great one with whitefish and pineapple. Some are flavoured strongly with lime and cilantro, others let the flavour of the seafood shine through, all are excellent. The basic tostada are $25MXN/tostado (that's a buck a piece!), but you can get more elaborate selections at $50MXN or $100MXN/piece. GO, NOW! You'll regret missing out on this one, folks!

Fantastic! Plates full of especiales eaten on the sidewalk in the sunshine with crowds of other happy eaters. I would love to eat this every day.

Amazing and cheap. I tried cheviche only on the street. There is the restaurant on the other side of the road.
