After many discussions with the customs, police and the Lamido in Garrua, we decided to head to Belel border post to cross to Nigeria.
They gave us 30 days as per the tourist visa we got in Windhoek 3 months before we got there. No hassle and no bribing at all. Very pleasant, all officers were gentlemen.
We crossed the mayo, North to Mayou Doumsi, the water was barely 30 cm at its deepest and exit point OK by following the tracks of the motorbikes.
The way we took : Garoua, Gashiga, Mayel Doumsi.
