Very large pullout with great views. Not very visible from the road. Several overlanders could camp here. Locals sometimes drive up to enjoy an evening cigarette. Mostly protected from wind, unless it comes straight from the north.
don't leave TP everywhere.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
At 22hr it was empty and we could park behind Some trees. You can still hear the road, but it gets quiet in the night
Report Check-InSuperbe vue. Nous étions à l’abri du vent et l’endroit était très calme. Un autre voyageur est également venu, il y a assez bien de place
Report Check-InHermosa vista! Estuvimos 2 noches acá y no tuvimos problemas. Recomendado!
Report Check-InI was in that place and I didn’t like it, because I believe is very public, and not hidden from the road, is not good for a tent and a motorbike. I think it is good for a camper or a motorhome, or may be cyclist can find some spot on the right side. I camped in another place that I add with the name “intrepid biker refuge”.
Report Check-InI was in that place, but I didn’t like it for tent. I think is very crowded on the morning. And is very public, with a lot of people. I believe this is a good place for a camper or a motorhome, but not for a motorbike and a tent. Cyclist may be can find a private place on the right side, I slept in another place, I add it “intrepid bike refuge”, is more private.
Report Check-InPlenty of spot to set a tent or park a van near by the trees, access to the beach of the lake. Quiet at night, careful with the van to not park it on the beach, and stay within the main area risk of being
stuck with the sand. But easy access with a 4*4
Spot by the road, if you turn right, you can be hidden from the road. Not windy with a nice view of the lake. Quiet even if some cars stop by now and then.
Report Check-InAmazing place for a night. We found a flat spot hidden from the road to put our tent.
Some bushes are loaded with toilet paper though. It’s a shame people don’t take care of things.
Report Check-InAs described, large pullout with great lake view.
3 black dogs now but there are friendly.
nice spot but get crazy busy with busses after 10 or so at least on a weekend in September. we spent the night and were quite alone and quiet in our van.
Report Check-InVery nice place. If you park behind the rocks, you are hidden very well.
Just a few people came to enjoy the view. The black dogs are still there and friendly. They slept in front of our van :)
Very good view, we plant 4 tents for a night.
A little bit of wind, but quiet place
Awesome view over the lake. Some view traffic at night. Not very noisy. There are two black dogs visiting us but they’re friendly. Nice spot for wild camp.
Report Check-InGood for one night if you arrive late. Due to clouds the view was not that good. If you park next to the rock on the right side you cannot be seen from the road. Only space for one car there. Next to trash though.
Report Check-Inif u don't want to get up in a parking lot, this is the spot ;)
makes no sense to arrive early
looks like a dog stole my shoes, found them 50m away
Report Check-InGreat view indeed. Not that large, but enough space for a few rigs. During the evening traffic noise, but quiet at night. Not a place to stay longer than one night.
