Parking area close to the Wadi at the end of the tar road. Very quiet. 4G with Omantel SIM. No facilities.

Not the most idyllic oasis as it is a bit dirty and muddy but still by far the best place to camp in the wide surroundings. Some mosquitos but very manageable. Water not swimmable. Ok internet reception with Ooredo.

There is standing brackish water and hence Mosquitoes and sand flies around but manageable amounts.
Lovely wadi and greenery, a quiet area with petrol station near by. Was a good stop on the way back from Salalah. We pitched our tent on the top of the open building, as we were worried about bugs. Lots of camels around in the morning. Really enjoyed camping here

Report Check-Ina very nice place, but the road by the river is no longer available. We found protection from the sandstorm at the abandoned houses and spent the quietest night here:

Very nice place for a good night sleep in a wadi. We came here from Salalah on ourvway to Nizwa. Be aware of Moskitos (also in December)
