I did extend our visa online on the ROP-website. It was a 5 minutes job. Login -> select Visa Endorsement -> click on Renew/Extend Visa -> enter Visa-no, passport-id, date of birth and nationality and click on Search. Select visa which is now shown at the bottom of the page -> click in Extend Visa. At the top of document which you receive after payment via e-mail is says: "There is no need to visit the DGPCS office to update the stamps in your passport."

Seems they don't manage visa extensions anymore here. Police officer sent me to Awqad Police Station.

we got this letter from Sanad Services for 1 rialand went then to the police station. there were many people waiting, but for europeans there is a seperate area on the very right sight of the waiting hall. ond couple did not have the lettre from Sanad but they were still able to extend their visas. took us about 1-1.5 hours, beacuse Omanis are not used to queue. paymant with credit card only.

The place for the Extension Letter moved to this location: 17.068588, 54.148846, Sanad Services Center. Opens at 9am. Then proceed at the ROP like described.

Immigration office at the Royal Oman Police station. On the left side of the immigration office is a caravan like building. Ask here for the extension paper (1 OR). Go back to the immigration office and take the most right desk for your extension. Payment only by Visa or MasterCard. (20 OR)
