Report Check-In

It is a basic campsite but offers a kitchen and hot showers. The owner is a very kind person.
300 pesos

Report Check-In

Friendly owner with two nice dogs (he adopted them because camper left them back..!). With 300 pesos pp a bit expensive, but you can use the kitchen. We used only the ladies bathroom which was clean, the mans bathroom was a bit a mess.

Report Check-In

With 600 pesos (2 adults + 2 little kids + camper) quite expensive, but recommendable, especially when it’s very windy/rainy. Hot showers and a room with cooking facilities and a fire pit.

Report Check-In

We do not recommend this campsite. 300 pp is way too much for no electricity, no WIFI, Banos not clean, half of the toilets not working. In the evening he starts a loud generator until midnight and all the exhaust goes into the ladies bathroom. Absolutely not useable anymore. We talked with the owner and he was stubborn, ignorant and said: you already paid! Unfortunately it is the only place close to the petrified forest where you can find a bit shelter from the wind.

Report Check-In

The campground was closed but we were allowed to park there in order to be sheltered from the wind which was amazingly strong ! We could use the bathrooms as well but they were dirty. The owner was very nice, he told us to give him what we want.

Report Check-In

We couldn't stay at the first IOverlander point, difficult to enter and too much wind. So we went to the estancia. It was closed at this time at the year, but we could stay and use the parilla. It was verry windy, but I can not imagine how it could be outside. The manager, very friendly, ask us to pay only if we want. I recomend, I think it is a lot better then on the road.

Report Check-In

Pleasant owner. Hot showers. Paid 600ARP for two people :( Didn't try to negotiate.

Report Check-In

Very friendy owner, also its two dogs...
Basic, but clean bathrooms.
Perfectly windsheltered, clean camping places.
Huge "Living room" (with artesanial painting) with kitchen, tables and fire place!
Hot shower!
Electricity from 21.30 until 23.30!
Water not drinkable, but in the little shop you can buy water, beer, wine, tea and cookies.

Report Check-In

Now the price is 150 pp. We negotiated to 250 for 2 people and tent.

Report Check-In

It's ok for one night and for visit the monumento bosques petrificados. Bathrooms are ok if you consider that you are in the middle of nowhere. But they need to be cleaned. 100 arg per person

Report Check-In

Nice people at the campsite and 20 km before the park. The "road" (i would not name it a road) is not in a good shape. It took us about 1,5 hours for 30 km with a VW T3 2WD. Camping is not allowed 20 km before the park starts. Price per person and night: 100 Pesos.

Report Check-In

Als Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch des steinernen Waldes gut geeignet. Die Straße ist auch mit einem Sprinter ganz gut zu befahren. Man sieht auf dem Weg u.a. Nandus, Guanacos, Maras. Die Sanitärräume sind sanierungsbedürftig. Wir haben 80 Pesos pro Person und Nacht bezahlt.

Report Check-In

Bit of a weird place, but very friendly host. Baños are very basic, but hot showers. You can use the common kitchen to cook and eat. Electricity is generated by a generator until 11pm. The neighbourhood is very very nice, but very windy. As we were the only guests that night, and there was a lot of wind, we could sleep inside the common area. No WiFi.

Report Check-In

200 Arg Pesos for 2 people. Would't go there, they are lots of places on the road, which have good wind protection.

Report Check-In

To expensive for what you get. He charge now 200 ARG Pesos. The Toilets are dirty and smelly and the water is running poorly. The only good thing is the big kitchen to use. In the night from 9 to 11 the generator is running and that's the only time to charge your stuff.

Report Check-In

100ARS/night/person - children free - kitchen, hot shower, nice place- there was only us so we can sleep in the common area - very windy!

Report Check-In

Now it costs 100 pesos pP with shower and 70pP without shower. Water is still stinky and not drinkable at all and it was cut external in the morning due to water shortage. A little bit overpriced but very nice owner though!
