Entrance blocked with logs and earth berm.

yes here is no lake, but the beauty about this spot is the privacy which you won't have at other places along this road

Hm, we were disappointed by this spot. The comments were so good and we had high expectations. It was a sunny and warm Day and this spot was shady and dark and dusty. No sun in the afternoon and the night was cold and the sun reached us too late to heat us up. Good enough if you arrive late and Need a place to stay. There are many more nicer places than this one. Wish we had gone further but it was too late. Nice forest though!

Very nice apot. No logs blocking path, and no flies or biting bugs, or trucks in the river while we were here. Just a great spot to pull your rig on the beach and camp.

Stopped here once more on our way north. The track leading to it is much more pronounced, the low hanging trees branches have been cut, there's evidence of people having a hard time getting back out of the sand and gravel, and the river was much lower. Not as pristine as before but sill a very nice, secluded spot.

Beaut of a spot, creekside in an old growth pine forest. No flies to mention, lots of wine and cigars shared with our argentine neighbors. One of the nicest spots we've found thus far. Savvlinvan approved.

Report Check-In

Really nice place...except when there is an argentinean guy with his pick-up truck IN the river...(see picture) we tried to pull him out but didn't succeed so he had to call the police. They told us we couldn't stay here and that we had to go to a camping: so we left (after te pick-up truck was pulled out by a bulldozer.

Report Check-In

The track has now been blocked by logs also there are lots of horse flies in and around this stream. We would not recommend camping here unless you had no other place to go.

I don't understand why people call this place 'beautiful'! It's AMAZING. Crystal clear river surrounds a secluded beach. Tall trees giving protection from wind and sun. Gorgeous mountain peaks all around. Lots of driftwood to make fire and brilliant stars above. This was one of the best spots on the Lake District so far. I would still camp here if I knew an axe murderer was lurking in the woods nearby. It's that good! Thanks for discovering it. Oh yes... And it's free!

Free. Beautiful and secluded spot on the river. Perfect for tent camping, motorcycles or small rig. Lots of firewood.
