Not difficult process but expensive. We paid 150 € for express visa that is ready the day after otherwise you need to wait 7 working days. They were not very nice and Jose could't get in with short throusers, so make sure you dress ok hahaha!

I forgot to add, two passport photos required. I had printed mine myself (on glossy paper) and she gave me scissors to cut them out. Lucky really, as they probably weren't the exact regulation size.

UK passport = 120 USD for seven WORKING days.

50 USD express fee. I didn't have enough USD so paid the 50 dollars in SLE at a very bad rate (1,200).

The woman is not nice if you get onto the subject of price/wait time. She tells you how horrible the white people and brits are to Liberians trying to apply, and says that justifies it.

I tried everything to haggle, ask for magic etc. No luck. I even saw a lady come back after seven days (not seven business days) and she turned her away, making her wait two days more.

She said it would take an hour but I pushed and she did it instantly.

If you go in expecting to pay $170 and you have the cash, you won't have a problem! Otherwise, it's not very enjoyable! But I came away with a visa valid for a single trip in the next 3 months, so there's that!

East and fast visa process, went straight without any appointment, they provide one form, I provided two photos and 100$, got it in 5 minutes asking for “magic” to speed up the process, guy was very nice and told me he’s not gonna charge me for express process. Nice :)

UK passport. 120 USD for 7 working days or 170 USD for 5 minutes. Tried bargaining 150 USD but it didn't work. If you have a vehicle and don't have a CPD a laissez-passer is 100 USD for a car and 80 USD for a motorbike.

Not a nice lady. I had to pay 2000sll for a visa and 3000sll for if I wanted express. It was ready in 5 minutes, so that was worth the money but it is an expensive visa!

Deposited my visa application today (Nov 7,2022). Lady at the visa office asked me for 100 US$, no SLL accepted…but then she accepted that I pay in SLL and set the price at 1,850 SLL. Will take 7 business days. There’s the express option (24 hour turnaround) but it cost 50$ US extra.
Docs needed: She only asked for 2 photos, a form to fill out and the passport.

Got our Liberian visa here on the same day. The cost was 100-125 USD depending on nationality. No express fee needdd to be paid by our group. We only had to fill in a form and provide passport photos.

Came when it was an national holiday in Liberia. Consul was not there, but we went for breakfast with the secretary, afterwards he called the consul and we met at the embassy. 100$ dollar single entry, one month, ready next day, paid 50$/passport emergency “fee” and got it ten days later. Bought also a laisser-passer for 50$, you’ll need it at the boarder although you have a carnet. Got a receipt for everything except the emergency fee.

Came to the embassy on a liberian national holiday. Talked with a guy on place because we were in a hurry.
He called the consul and he came 2 hours later. (Between he showed us a place for breakfast)
Could do the visa (single, 1 month) for 100 USD until next day. With 50 USD extra "fee" per passport we had the visa 30min later in our hands!
Get no receipt for the "fee" but for the rest you get one.
Payed also 400000 Leone for the laissez passez for car and bike as well. Made it easier at the boarder.

Very easy application as described below. 100USD and 2 passport photos. He asked for a hotel reservation, but we could talk our way out of it. It is still recommended to have the address for a hotel ready as most officials inside Liberia will ask for it later on. Handed in the application on Friday and could pick up the visa on Monday, no express fee.

100$ in dollars for European passports + 2 photos, 400.000 Le for 1 month passavant (bike), applied on Friday, took the passport with the visa Monday morning, kind staff, the secretary speaks also Italian :)

Paid $135 in USD for 1 month single entry visa with US passport. Did not need invitation letter or hotel booking; might have needed address of a hotel but I don't remember (and they didn't check for reservation). Initially was told it would take a week, but I could pay a $50 "emergency fee" and pick it up on the next business day. The woman was initially not very friendly as I was asking about prices, but cheered up once I paid. It's a big white building on the right as you're heading up the hill.

You supposedly need an invitation letter and reference to apply for a visa but they did not care. We needed to fill out one form and bring one passport photo. The process usually takes 2 days but we said that we were in a hurry and could pick it up the next day. For 50US$ extra you can get an emergency visa the same day.
We paid 100US$ (Leone also accepted) for a 1 month single entry visa with 3 months time to enter the country. A 3 month multiple entry visa costs 150US$.
