Sierra Leone
The embassy is easiest reached by taking a poda poda up to Wilberforce Roundabout. The usually only issue visas to residents so it took us a couple of hours of explaining and waiting until our application was accepted. Having the Nigeria visa already in our passports helped as it proved our intentions to travel to South Africa. It took 6 days to process our applications as everything had to go through Accra and had to be done perfectly. Even the smallest mistakes on the application form needed to be fixed with correction fluid and rewritten.
You get one form from the embassy and need to copy it three times. The four identically filled out forms together with another form provided by the embassy and 4 passport photos should do the trick.
We paid 100US$ (no notes smaller than 50US$ accepted) for a 1 month single entry visa with entry within 1 month.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
1940 Leones for the visa but not a fast process in our experience despite trying to explain our requirements.
Had to come back two days after filling in the forms and making the payment only for then to be interviewed and asked for more information.
Form to fill in is now online only and very frustrating. Also lots of the information isn't relevant as its directed towards SL residents naturally.
Now we have had the meeting we hope to have our visa issued today.
Good luck with the Bank, we waited for more than 2 hours in the queue. Get there early is my advice
Ghana visa for 1940leones(85 usd) in a day. Just request the guy and explain your route. Will issue the visa in 3 to hours. payment to be made in ecobank which is close to lumley roundabout. easy and quick process. no bribes.
Report Check-InGot a single entry 90 day visa here in about a day. Had to provide hotel booking, 2 pictures, fill out an application and go pay 1940SL($93) at Ecobank. US passport. The consulate originally wanted me to get one in Abidjan, but after asking nicely he agreed to issue me a visa here.
Report Check-InWe tried to get the visa, but they first ask us why we didn’t try at our country (Brazil). After we told our route, they recommend us to try in a near country, like Liberia or Ivory Coast.
There’s a paper with the new fees: single entry is Le 1.125.000 (US$ 60).
Report Check-InRejected on the grounds that I had no residence permit. I’ve sent a lady from reception to demand to speak with the chancellor, he sent back a message that there is nothing he can do
