Latest Check-Ins

Solomon is not part of the campingsite which we thought at first, at the campingsite there are also guides available which ask for Birr. 400,- guidefee only excl. park fees etc. Solomon tried to lure us to other tribes 180km away which is alright, but not what we were looking for. He asked for Birr. 700,- guidefee only excl. park fees etc.

We eventually ended up back at our own guesthouse 'Nardos pension' where we asked around as well and where the guidefee was negotiable. They recommended us a 17 year old boy that knows 5 languages and was very friendly and a helpful and good guide.
We eventually paid Birr. 1115,- for the following:
1) Park entrance fee for two people Birr. 440,-
2) Car fee in park Birr. 62,-
3) Security fee in park Birr. 110,-
4) Guidefee Birr. 500,-
Additional Birr. 5,- per person we wanted to photograph.

We do have to say they forgot to charge the village entrance fee from around Birr. 200,- but because it was their mistake, Degu wasn't difficult about it.
