Description
First you have to go to Gordon's Bay and make a booking at Hanson Park Resort and pay at Pick 'n Pay there. We talked, talked and talk at the gate with the guard, but we had to go first to make the booking. So when you come from Cape Town, do not forget the booking. If you com from Rooiels then you have to go 10 km to Gordon's Bay for the booking and back again. Very odd system!
But this camping is nice because of the beach. No elec.

The office is open until 16:00, but the reservations must be done until 15:00! The location is great, nice beach. But the campsite is dirty, garbage and glas on the sites, run-down facilities. Go there for the location, but don‘t expect anything more.
Report Check-InReally beautiful site directly at the beach in a beautiful bay (you don’t see town from the campsite). You have to register at Hendon Park Resort (not Hanson) just past the BP station on Faure Marine Drive, in Gordon’s Bay but they close at 16:00.

Price was R168 for max 6 people and max 2 cars. Payment was supposed to be done in Gordon's Bay, but ... this is Africa ...
Report Check-InThe most beautiful Beach Campsite we've seen in South Africa so far. Squeezed in between the rocky Mountains and the white sandy Beach. Camping on green Grass directly at the Sea. Ablutions basic but okay (take the first Ablution Block, the second is old and only has cold Showers). Braai Pitches, no Electricity, no Wifi. They told us to pay at Gordon's Bay (some km North) and then come back with the Receipt... However, after a bit of Confusion and Talking we were allowed to checkin and pay on Spot. 132 ZAR per Site for up to 6 People and 2 Cars (August).
