Description

Location of the embassy correct as of today. Google is incorrect. There is a sign on the main road for it too. Opposite Parapharmacy

UK Passport  USD$100 (only dollar)
Other passports the same except USA where it's $161 (Nov 2023) Chinese is $50 and Malaysian $10 (Nov 2023) should that help anyone

You also need to buy a vehicle permit, 200-300k for a car i think. I was not asked for a vehicle permit for my Moto.

Can pay directly to consul in $

One day to get my visa, they asked for $50 for same day express but think he'd negotiate down, but wouldn't accept $15.

Need 2 photos, but nothing else asked for. Very easy process and they speak great English, which helps a lot.

Latest Check-Ins

Went this morning at 9am, to the Liberia embassy. 100 usd , and the Guard told me the same thing about same day (but not immediately) visa, for additional 50$. I said, I can't, he said 20$ for tomorrow, if not friday (he said 3 days processing)
so i gave local francs 180k aprox 20$.
but , I really wonder if the amounts he takes is for himself, or goes to the visa service.
if you have time , try to say, regular Visa time. i am almost sure it will be delivered the next day.
anyway, he is supposed to call me when the visa is ready. he told me either today afternoon or tommorow morning.
will update

The easiest visa so far. At the gate you give them passport, 2 photos and 100$ or €. Come back next day at a time they tell you (you can choose). There will someone waiting with your visa and passport outside. Finish. Total maybe 5min

Got Liberian Laissez Passer here.
Fee: 400k per car
Required: driver's license, insurance, 2 passport photos, car document.

we had no insurance, so they helped to arrange one - drove with us to a place where we could buy one

US$100 cash (UK passport), two passport photos. No hotel reservation, no form to fill out, no trip to the bank, no express fee.

Report Check-In

2 passport pictures
100$

nothing else.
Didn’t have to fill out anything, didn’t have any hotel reservations, weren’t sent to a bank. Just a nice chat with everyone involved, showed our motorbikes, laughed and smiled a lot. Easy!
We applied Friday at noon, collected visa Monday morning.
Visa is single entry, 30 days and 3 months validity from date of issue. EU passport.

Knock on green gate, then sign log book and go into main lobby. Great AC and sofas to sit.

We arrived 3 pm on Thursday. Mohammed (a jovial consular official who does interviews) chatted with us after calling the consul to process us. $100 for 3 month single entry for a Canadian, $161 for USA one year multiple.

We provided two photos each, copu of passport, and printout of hotel res.

We paid the $50 express fee and it was done in 10 minutes. Paid USD cash (normally I think you have to go to the bank but they closed already). Mohammed said he persuaded the consul to give me 6 month multiple (at same price as the 3 month .. normally it's $150 according to their price list on the wall).

Showed up in the morning, they had me fill out a visa application and requested a printed hotel reservation and 2 passport photos. Gave them those then they gave me a paper with a bank number and I went to Société Générale to pay the $161(US Citizen). The correct branch is in Koleya-

(9.5368474, -13.6761999) other branches didn’t know what to do with the paper(there are like 8 branches around).
Got my visa around 4pm. Guy was super friendly. They wanted 300000gnf for lassiez passer for the motorcycle(no carnet).

Report Check-In

100$ plus 50$ express fee. I didn't have to fill anything just to give passport and 2 pics

Easy process, they need only money. Visa fee is 100$. +50$ for same day. I visited embassy and deposited 100$ and told them I want my Ivory Coast visa so I couldn’t give my passport so he asked me to come next day morning and next day gave me visa stamp in 5 minutes. Visa officer Mr. Samuel very nice.

Went here at 9am and it was incredibly quiet, very nice people. The visa is $100, which you can pay there directly. The consul asked for $50 extra if I wanted it same day (he said it'll be ready in 10mins), but I opted for the standard fee and it's ready tomorrow at 10am anyway.

2 photos, fill in a form there and make sure you have an address of a hotel in Liberia just to put onto the form. Easy

Got visa in 2 hours - 2 photos, passport and 110 dollars.

100 USD for 3 working days. Wanted 150 USD for same day at start but after a chat they did it for 110. Ask for consul named Sam who was most keen to help me out!

2xphoto

They asked for $20 express fee for same day service, after they read my hesitation then brought down the price to $10 automatically
Got my visa within 5min with $10 express fee

Arrived here at 11:20 am, payed 100 dollars per visa, two pictures needed, we were not asked for hotel bookings or letter to embassy. Pick up at 4 pm. Super easy.

Report Check-In

Very easy, Visa costs 100$
Got visa same day for a 75$ extra fee
List of required documents:
Application letter
Hotel reservation printout
Passport copy
You will have to pay visa fee in the bank which is far away, it took me more than 2 hours return trip.

Easy but expensive application. Copy of passport, copy of grey card, copy of CEDEAO insurance, copy of international driver’s license. 100 USD (5 working days). 50 USD more to get it the next day. Didn’t have change and didn’t want to stay 5 more days in Conakry so I paid 50 EUR instead. Very friendly but really expensive in the end.

Location of the embassy correct as of today. Google is incorrect. There is a sign on the main road for it too. Opposite Parapharmacy

UK Passport  USD$100 (only dollar)
Other passports the same except USA where its $141. Chinese is $50 and Malaysian $5 should that help anyone

You also need to buy a vehicle permit. 50k GF for a moto. 200-300k for a car i think. At 5€ i didn't question this as i have a carnet

You have to pay in at Société Generale. They said only the centre ville branch. I've checked in there too. But it's far because of traffic. Make your way across to the main highway. Much much faster

3 working days. I asked if possible for 'express' service and gave a line about wanting to leave conakary so i could spend Xmas with friends in Sierra Leone.

They agreed for the fee (cash naturally). I tried to keep a straight face when asked for 50k Guinea Franc (€5). I thought I'd be paying 10 times that!

Helpful staff once they got their head around the method of trip. I had all the paperwork, they wanted to see insurance, driving licence, booking for a hotel, yellow fever, 5 photos (with the vehicle permit), passport copy. And a lettet about the trip. Thats important. I had letters from work explaining my sabbatical leave, a bank statement and a clean criminal check (from my job). These were not vital, but helped i think. I also think having all visas up to Togo helped explain the journey

Get there early in the morning. Open 9-4. I got back with the bank receipts just before lunch. Ambassador wasn't there. I went back just after 3 to chance it and got my visa
