Description

The beach access next door looked at the limit of what my RWD Astro could handle, so we asked in the restaurant if we could park up here. They welcomed our two vehicles, gave us WiFi and electricity, toilets and control over the lights, no hint of a fee. We had a snack and some drinks, plus breakfast the next morning at very reasonable prices (100 cordobas for gallo pinto, eggs, plantains, cheese and coffee, 30 for fresh juices). Lovely people, lovely breeze, lovely shade - I imagine also a lovely place to watch the sunrise if you're up early enough too!

We fit a van and truck-camper in, so one big rig would manage, anything more would seem rude. They had some slightly barky dogs and a couple of cats so I suspect taking pets might be an issue if you wanted to have them outdoors, don't know though.

Restaurant above the beach, with access to the beach. Loved the spot. Staff is super friendly. They did not charge us for the night, but we ate at the restaurant and had a couple of beers. They also serve amazing juices (mango+melón+maracuyá).
