$35 full hookups for seniors (over 62). Includes entrance to the ghost town. Showers are $1 (in quarters) for 6 minutes ☹️

Nous sommes arrivés à 18h au camground qui était normalement fermé à cette heure. Une dame dans un pick up gardait l’entrée de la ville et nous a dit de nous installer dans les 10 premières places et qu’un « ranger » passerait nous faire payer. 40 dollars pour full hook up cash or card. Il est arrivé 40 minutes plus tard. Les emplacements sont grands avec table et fireplace en cailloux. Le camping est immense avec aussi des petits chalets à louer. Très sympa et pratique. Le lendemain nous sommes allés visiter Calico gratuitement puisque nous avions passé la baraque d’entrée la veille après 17h pour aller au camping. Les douches sont payantes 1 dollar pour démarrer ( avec quarters). On a pas remis plus, l’eau est devenue froide au bout de 30 secondes. Toilettes dispo sans souci.

Stayed in an “electric only” site for 35$ charged by the Ranger that came around at 6:30pm. I didn’t make a reservation online. Lots of rigs set up in the “full hookup” section but noone else in this part of the campground luckily since the spots are very close together. Had 1-3 bars Verizon and was able to stream ok. Hot showers (they were free when I was here). Some walking trails. The town itself is busy and kind of disneyland-ish, not my vibe, but fun to walk through while here.

good spot with not so clean bathrooms. I paid 30/night for no hookups and could have easily moved to a full hookup spot after ramger collected $ as there's no one else here. $1 in coins for 5 minute shower. only 15 off highway. 2 bars verizon

Such a fun place to camp! There’s a small hike within the campground that leads up to the actual town of Calico! Free admission if you camp! Perfect for the kids. Little to no shade, lots of sun exposure! Campground was very quiet and $45 a night for hookups…you can make reservations online too!
