Beautiful overlook, large turnout. Watched the sunset and had dinner! Quiet throughout the night! We slept well, one night before going to Three Island Crossing State Park near Glenns Ferry!
2 bars on T-mobile and Verizon.
There are several turnouts along 30.

SUPER PRETTY. Views of the city lights, mountains, and the Snake River. Not really level, the whole site is at a downwards slope, but I just slept with my feet facing down the mountain in my car and it was far less noticeable than I would have thought. There was a cop up the road that pulled 6 people over into the spot we were staying at between 7 and 9pm. Never gave up any issues so overnighting is definitely permitted here. Overall great spot, I’d recommend.
Report Check-InWe stayed here again on the way back! It’s not a paid campsite, so there’s some noise, depends on your tolerance! 🤨 Much like a rest area, there’s road noise! But with this view it’s worth the stop for one night or just stop to take in the massive view! Be sure to take your trash with you when you leave!
Report Check-In***Scenic*** overlook pull out. Big enough for a few rigs. Not super level. Worth it for the view. We're sleeping here and moving on in the early a.m.
Report Check-InVery loud. It’s got a nice view and good cell. But tons of traffic and noise. Would not recommend unless desperate
