Online visa.

Make sure you get the confirmation email for your sent in application.

For my husband it took 1,5 hours and for me three days for the visa confirmation.

Visa is valid for one year. Make sure you do it at least one week before arrival. They don’t work on weekends.

No passavant need anymore. Visa is enough. Don’t waist your time “to be on the safe side”.

very friendly consulate. Not possible to get visa there directly. But he helped me fill in the online application. He even took pictures of me my passport and yellow fever report and edit the pictures so we could upload them. I received approval about 6 hours later.

Definitely open. Went there around 11am, did not need to fill up the whole visa application form (which is in French). I only needed my passport, two passport photos, the form and cash to pay for the visa. No photocopies of
anything needed, although I had my yellow card with me and the consul just took a look at it. I forgot to take any passport photos with me but it was okay for me to bring them when I picked up the visa. Pick up at 14:30 on the same day.

1 month and one entry – 30000 CFA
2 months and two entries – 60000 CFA
1 month and two entries not possible.
The consul speaks very limited English if that should help anyone.

I got my visa in maybe 20 mins. I was asked 30.000cfa for single entry, 60.000 for double entry, both valid for a month. I also had to submit two photos and a photocopy of passport and vaccination card.

Report Check-In

Relatively fast and easy. Guard is friendly. appearance has changed. The wall is now a yellowy brown colour with light blue linings. Building opposite is a pinkish red.

Arrived at 1445 and get the visas 1 hour later.
Tried to sell us three months for 45000, you have to ask for 30 days single entry and you will get it for 30000 CFA
You need the form, 2 photos, copy of passport, copy of Bissau visa.
Could fill out the form directly in the office with there help.
They showed us a place to copy the visas.

As others have said, easy. Handed in passports in the morning and could pick them up the same day in the afternoon. The consul first tried to force a multi-entry visa on us for 45 000 CFA instead of a single-entry visa for 30 000 CFA which we wanted. Had to argue for a while before he gave in and gave us the single entry. Basic French is needed.

Report Check-In

Double entry visa for one month is 45000 cfa
Could pick it up one hour later.

Report Check-In

Very relaxed. The ambassador (or Consulate?) was at his house working from home. We drove the secretary over to his house so that he could sign the visa forms. Wish they were all so easy.

May be obvious to some, but this is the Guinea consulate, not Guinea-Bissau.

Super easy to get a visa. US passports get a 3 year multiple entry for the same price!
