what a place! i was allowed to stay 2 days at their ground with my land rover, for free! So booking a dinner at the camp (10JD) was more than fair for their hospitality from my side! Was allowed to use their bathrooms and shower! A very special thanks to Odai, he is heart and soul of the camp, had a great time with him!! thanks my friend, great pleasure to meet you!! If you Plan going Wadi Rum, no matter to stay at the camp or doing the overlander way, Rum Planet Camp is the place to go!!

Odai and the family team at Rum Planet are incredibly welcoming. We have spent 2 days camping outside the camp with complete access to the clean showers, loos and buildings. Supper is 10 JOD and breakfast 7, the food is excellent and plentiful. The whole team here are friendly, approachable and a fund of knowledge about the Wadi. Recommended.

Wow! This was our first stop in Jordan as we came from the Saudi boarder (without 4x4). So friendly guys. Very good buffet for only 10 JOD, including water, juice and tea. You can use toilets and really hot showers for free. Although they offer jeep and dromedary tours as well. And at the evening we learned a lot of the sky and the stars during stargazing from Ahmad. It was an amazing time. Thanks!

Good place to enter the desert with 2WD. This also bypasses the visitor centre, so no need to activate the Jordan pass. Very kind people of the camp, we arrived at 5 in the evening without prior contact or arranging anything and they welcomed us in. 10JD for dinner and 7JD for breakfast. 4-hour desert jeep tour was 70JD per car if you can't drive into the desert like us. Shorter and longer tours also available.

Still a perfect place. Still 10 Dinar p.P. for a delicious diner by the fire. We enjoyed a very hot shower and a clean bathroom. Gave us information about driving through the wadi. We felt very welcome. You can easily enter the place from village Dibah and avoid the visitor center by that way (to keep your Jordan pass untouched).

We stayed for two days and it was awesome. Though an drive from the main road you don’t need a 4x4 unless you deviate from main track. Try not to go too fast as you could have a rough ride and also kick up dust for everyone else. The camp is a modest, tucked away place with great sunrise and sunset views. You can bring your rig big and small. Or you could stay in one of the Bedouin tent lodges. Large hall we here they serve great local food so I would recommend dinner and breakfast for sure. They offer excursions too! Do take the opportunity to star gaze as well. The showers are hot and toilet super clean. We relaxed so much thanks to the team there.

Very nice campsite with welcoming owner named Odai. When you get there ask for him when you arrived or contact him +962779737341.
They let me put my tent in the back of the main building near the camels but also have accommodations available.

Came here today and yes the place is still welcoming overlanders at least the local Beduin owner do. A western woman who seemed to be affiliated to the place here or just a complaining customer was not very happy with us to a point of being rude. As we found out later she was a tour operator. We had asked before we set up here and after we got permission only we open up our rooftop tent, we also booked in a meal as we do not like to stay completely for free, so we did not understand why there was a fuzz. Anyway that incident does not take away anything of the beauty and the hospitality of the place. The whole camp is very well taken care and clean.

It was really nice to stay here. Friendly host.
