Primitive but quiet and a decent cell signal. Rocky sites and small
There is a spot just east of the original co-ordinatess that is much more accessible to low clearance vehicles. Heading east from the original mark, it will be on the right just before the road turns. It is visible on satellite view on Google maps.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Little pulloff spot off of I-17. A little bit of road noise. Fire rings line the road with tent spots. Pulled up later than expected and there was still sites. A bit rocky and would be pretty muddy if it had just rained.
Report Check-InThis site was exactly as described, there’s a beat up road along a few dozen sites. Only a few of us here so it was perfect! Plenty of already made fire pits around the areas also.
Report Check-InStayed the night unbothered. The spot at the marked coords had some jagged rocks that didn't mesh w/ my low clearance vehicle.

Report Check-InA bit further than these coordonnates. since there was all ready someone in the pkace, ee just continued a bit further on the paved road and stopped on the side of the road where it was larger.
Report Check-InA couple of pullouts off the road. A few wide spots on the road. Road is gravel and solid. Pullouts can be a bit muddy. 3 bars of Verizon near the east end of the road after turning off of Stoneman.
Report Check-InGravel road is easily traversed by any vehicle. SxS traffic during the day but otherwise quiet.
A great spot to escape the first Phoenix heat wave.
Report Check-InQuite a bit of freeway noise, but not a bad place for an overnight stop.
Report Check-InI came to this area when it was unbelievably crowded in the Montezuma Well area south of here. There are a few turnouts here with stone campfire remnants. It was super quiet and lovely. There's a spot that could take a larger rig, and two others that are probably more comfortable for smaller rigs or vans. Less than 5 people drove by so it felt really secluded. Good verizon and att.
