Report Check-InPost by owner: Bushman Valley is Pet Friendly. Wifi upgraded. Coffee shop at Main House. Arrange with staff should your check in be delayed. Camp 4 - own private ablution. Wood fired hot tub available to all camping guests. Water and electricity at all sites. Camp sites and cottages available. R400 price per site, PAX 8 people.
Report Check-InThis campsite is a bit strange: one site has it's own toilet (and shower?), one has a hot tub... Most of them only have a little bit of shade and the ablution block wasn't cleaned for a few weeks (seeing by the amount of dust, spiders et cetera). At 5 pm everyone left, without letting us know, and also during the night the gate was left open and there was nobody around (as far as we know, but we only looked until well past 9pm). At 8pm two other guests with a reservation for a cottage arrived, but as nobody was present to welcome them and nobody answered the phone, we suggested they could camp (they had a tent with them) and we showed them around. WiFi was very slow and the price was 400ZAR per site. Not a place I would advise to go to...
Report Check-InThey upgrade years after years the campsite. Now, one have it’s own ablution with a shelter and we were happy to find it as a storm started 5 minutes after we arrived. They plan to make one for each campsite. Campsites offer you privacy in a bush feeling landscape.
Far noise of the road is not a problem due to poor traffic. Pool, WiFi and beers.
Beautiful spot, super clean ablutions. Paid 300 rand for two people for one night.
Report Check-InNice place but 300R for 1 one (1 person and s bike) is extremely expensive. But it was late and raining so I stayed anyways. At 18h reception closes and there is no more light, internet or whatsoever…
Report Check-InLovely campsite. Good facilities. I live that one’s close to Prince Albert yet remote. Wifi’s not great, but it could be due to load shedding and weather conditions!
Report Check-InPretty much between Prins Albert and the foot of the Swartberg Pass. 6 Campsites and some chalets. Good ablution facilities, with lots of hot water and super clean.
Sites are basic, however they have a small covered lapa (that I can imagine is a godsend in summer) and have single light and electricity point.
Lots of baboons in the valley, however none come down to the campsite. Super quiet at night and great skies above. Really enjoyed the one night we stayed.
Report Check-Inreally nice camping
ablutions very clean, hot water
Wifi everywhere on site and nice hiking around
we paid 240 for 2 and a car
worth it !
Small and personal campsites. Thoughtfully kitted out campus with water, power & lights. Clean ablutions. Great setting. Thank you Jacques for your hospitality.
Report Check-InGreat camp spot with nice views, hiking trails, good facilities (power, water, covered area at each spot), and very close to Prince Albert but still with a remote feeling. Only downside we had was that it was incredibly windy as it's positioned between two mountains channeling the wind.
Report Check-InThe phone number is wrong. Its 023 007 0288
